23. The raise of BrightWin

Bright with a glass of orange juice sat on the chair, resting his elbow on the table and looking at people who were dancing in the yard. Seeing the smile that can't be wiped out off Kaothang’s face along with other P-Win with Pond, he felt really empty, felt so sad, looking down at his lap, he can feel his tears were about to leak. A hand was seen in his sight with a voice,

“Can I ask your hands for a dance?”

Bright was startled to see his now-father but smiled happily and take his hands. As he started dancing, he saw Win and his Dad dancing from the corner of his eyes.

“So when are you going to confess to him?” Tay asked him out of nowhere.

“Huh? Confess? What is it about... Papa?” Bright whispered feeling embarrassed when he saw Tay smiling at him with his eyes looking back and forth between Win and him.

“So?”

“I already did.” whispered the younger one, “And he already has a girlfriend.”

“oh...” Tay smiled sadly and asked again, “so Dew? you are taking care of yourself right?”

“Um... But why am I going to stay away from him? You guys didn't tell me any reason.” Bright pouted and rest his head on Tay's crest.

“If you keep your eyes open, you would have known already,” Tay said but seeing the younger confused face on his chest, he continued,

“You know if you keep your eyes open, you will see things even in the darkness. Remember that, Okay son?”

With a thoughtful look, Bright said, “Last time I saw...”

“No Bright no, don't tell me yet. Observed first, then analyst second and then talked with an adult or makes your discussion. Okay?”

At that moment New and Win also came toward them, New smile was getting brighter when he saw his son and his husband were talking and dancing.

“You two seem close.” Tay voiced out which made the two stop dancing and turned their faces to the new voice.

“Well... What do you say we are now a father and a son.” Tay responded as he side hug the younger smiles decorated their faces.

“Good for you,” New said with a smile and they started talking for a while which Win got to know Bright enjoyed a lot.

“Here!” a voice was heard and in no time Pluem jumped in front of them with a guy and a click was heard.

“P’New this is Chinom, my boyfriend.” Pluem broke the silence which made Win shocked.

“Oh, so he is the one. Hi Chinom, I'm Pluem’s brother, New and he is from Pluem.” Chinom said and shooked each hand.

“Then what are you waiting for? let go dance...” Tay said as he dragged New away along with Pluem with his boyfriend Chinom, leaving the two younger.

Seeing his Dada and Uncle enjoying the dance with their partners, Bright side-eyes the elder, he really wanted to dance with Win asking him, only to see the elder was drinking who knows what. He huffed and frustratedly looked away to finish his drink, picked a random drink and gulped the whole drink in one sip from the glass without realising what is it, then his eyes started playing with him by spinning his surroundings and his thought became weirder.

But what he really missed was the stare that Win had on him which he had left only to sip his drink, since a couple of couples left him for dance. He also really wants to ask the younger for a dance but he couldn't as he is afraid that the younger will reject him.

Win was staring at Bright with a deep thought when out of nowhere Bright grabbed his wrist and dragged him to where the couples were dancing.

“I want to dance. You have to dance with me whether you like it or not. It's not your opinion, it my choice.” Bright mumbled which made Win chuckle and let the younger dragged him.

They reached the floor where couples are dancing and Bright was about to put his hand on Win's waist when Win beat him and put his hand on the younger waist which made Bright pout,

“I should be the one putting on the waist and looking manlier than you. But now you put it instead, people will see that you are manlier than you.” the younger said with his pouted lips and leaned on the elder chest and mumbled, “Your chest is hurt too, wanna see...”

Win just chuckled and said with his smile, “You can put your hand on my waist, I don't mind...”

“It’s okay, P’Win. I really like it here. but I  kept wondering this question as to why did you not like me.”

“Who said I don't like you, huh? To be honest when I saw you the first time I find you quite attractive.”

“Then why didn't you accept me?” Bright looked up with his big eyes and quickly looked down, “Oh you have a girlfriend, I forget who is also a cheater just like Dew. That monkey, acted as if I like him.”

“So you don't like him,” Win asked with a lot of hope.

Bright was quicked to put his finger on the elder lips, “Shh... someone will hear.” and looked around then suddenly he makes an evil grin as if he remembered something, “So you find me attractive?”

“Yes.” Win also admitted it, “And I still hope you will give me a chance.”

“Okay then...” and the younger started dragging the elder, “Let go and make love.”

“Huh?” Win was confused but didn't complain.

Just as they entered, Win assumed Bright's room, the younger quickly removed the elder's shirt, “Ah... I finally get to grab these boobs.” and happily played with the elder's chest which made Win's plant tighter. And in no time the younger one was attacked by the elder one lips.

Win knew that it would be a problem after the younger was sober but he didn't have any mind at that moment.

As soon as the two were gone the newly wed couple was also gone. Foei stared at the door and drink the alcohol which a woman joined.

“Why do they have to get married? You know it's still hurt thinking what they might do in that closed door.” Pakook said and turned to him, “You also think that, right? You know I have liked Tay since the day I met him. And I tried to seduce him so many times so that I can get pregnant and marry him but you know what? He didn't even touch me even if I was literally naked.”

“Well... I know how it feels. I did the same thing to my New too, no, not mine anymore. I did take care of him, love him, cherish him, and did everything to make him happy and mine too but in the end, he still went away from me. You know how hurt it is when my loved one marries another person. It hurt so much that it feels as if my heart will get burnt, this bottles...” he paused a little to point at the empty bottles he had drunk and continue, “This alcohol didn't make my heart get any less hurt. What should I do?” and he started crying.

“Poor thing, I thought it is only me who hurt the most but...” shaking his head he opened her arms and said, “Come dear one, let me hug you.”

Foei also leaned into the opened arms and started sobbing as the alcohol started kicking in. And after some time the two were gone crazy from singing to dancing, dancing to kissing and many others. At last, they saw Singto, the lawyer with his boyfriend, Krist so the two went to them and started demanding to marry them.

“No no I'm not listening, you have to marry us and that's final!” Foei shouted after getting complaints from others and turned to Pakook to say, “How is it? Does it good?”

She jumped like a kid, clapping her hand and said, “You did it so well and I love it. You look so hot, I can't wait for our first night which is today.”

The two P-Win and Pond were already gone when they finally saw their professor.

And finally, after getting a long argument, Singto married them and that was how the two got married as an Unexpected Couple.
