26. Messed up

Neem and Kapook were making something to eat when Foei questioned Win in the sitting room with everyone.

“Where? When,?”

“Since the first day, we met in a library...” Win whispered under Foei's murderous glare. Khao and Bright were quick to look at Win with surprise. They were sitting together on the floor as Foei forbade Bright and Win to sit together until the interrogation session was over.

“Just like us, huh?” Tay said playfully to his husband and had a quick kiss.

“Teee... Everyone is here. The kid too.” New said pointing at the kids.

“So what?” Tay shrugged, “They already have sex.” Tay continued as if it was nothing but the surroundings looked at Bright shocked.

“What? Do you two really?” Foei asked but seeing the quietness as the two kids looked down made him understand. He grabbed his nose and continued, “Oh Bright? I was hoping to torture him a little more for hurting you... But it seems you are the one hurting here, huh?” he smirked as he now understood the unusual posture of the kid.

Bright looked down with embarrassment but said quietly enough to hear the other, “I just love him...very much.”

“I love you too, Bright very much.” Win said as he embraced the younger in his arms and cried as he dought himself how long would he be able to stay happy with his love of life.

“Then why?” everybody looked at Foei confused but Win answered him anyway.

“Because my mom and dad are homophobic and I had a girlfriend at that time.” Win's nervousness was getting increased with every single word he said. As he knew involving his girlfriend was bad enough but he also mentioned his parents too.

His parents already told him to stop saying they are his parents but to him they were. They were the ones who had been feeding him, sheltering him, and giving change to him so he can't just ignore them. On the other hand, he won't know what made them so angry at him.

“And what about now?” everyone was looking at Win with expectation while Bright looked, remembering Win had a girlfriend while his tears were started to form but Win don't let him go even if the younger struggling to move.

Win peaked a little at Bright a bit, “She...” he just openly stared at the younger while New was having a hard time holding the furious Foei, “She already started dating Dew.”

Foei relaxed hearing that word but shouted furiously out of nowhere, “Why is this Dew everywhere?”

‘Ufk... Ufk...’ clapping hands over his mouth from releasing, New quickly ran toward the washroom. Foei got worried so he was about to run after the younger but stopped when he noticed a worried Tay was following the latter.

Everyone saw how down Foei looked but can't do anything so Nicky made his way,

“They last met a week ago, right?” he continued after getting a nod from others, “They might have....”

Everyone turned to him, confused. Chinom was quick to gasp,

“You don't really think he is...” he said with his hands on his mouth along with others in the room. Foei looked at Nicky and Chinom thoughtfully trying to understand the reason for others in the room.

“No way!!” he suddenly shouted.

“Food is ready!” Neem was heard from the kitchen at the moment.

“Are you sure, you are okay?” Tay asked as they all sat in the dining room, resting his hand on New's shoulder with his worried eyes.

New with a smile smoothing Tay's worried face with so much love, “I’m perfectly fine Tay...”

“The dishes look wonderful, can't wait to taste them. let's start eating.” Nicky interrupted the newlywed couple as he pushed the frozen Foei onto a chair which happened to be opposite them.

While eating New accidentally dropped some of the soup on his hand with a soft hiss, and he reached out for the tissue. Startling he looked down at his strained hand when he felt someone wiping his hand only to see Tay worriedly inspecting his hand.

But what they really didn't notice was the tissue frozen in Foei's hand. Kapook saw it as well as the others at the table too, she stared at New for a while and went to focus on her food. New looked up after making sure Tay finished his inspection.

His hiss may be soft but it wasn't for Tay and Foei who were literally staring at the latter. Foei might reunite his long lover but his love for New was not easy to forget. So unintentionally his eyes always found their way to the latter. Who can blame him tho he had been in love with New for the last seventeen years. And it's not his fault if he planned some evil tho.

New extended his hand with a pout to  Foei which the elder quickly hold with a smile as he recheck the strained part of the hand. Tay geared at Foei without anyone noticing but Foei who looked up and replied with a smirk.

“Dew, I think I saw him on the gate last night,” Pluem said out of nowhere.

“Is he spying on us?” Foei exclaimed.

“We need to alert and do our things quickly before he got his hand.”

“As we said earlier we need a plane.  Bright...” Foei called out which startled the younger.

“If you are dating him then just seduced him, it will be a lot easier.” Nicky jokes.

“No way!” Win shouted, standing up, “My gang can kidnap and beat him up...”

“Win, violence is not away the wise option.” New calmly interrupted the furious kid.

But win was still breathing fire, “But using Bright is also not a wise option. I forbid that idea.” Bright looked down with a soft smile.

“Nicky is just joking, Win. Bright is also our son, Tay and mine,” New said softly resting his head on his husband's shoulder who pulled him closer, “how can I suggest a such idea for our son?”

Finally Bright forced Win to sit, rounding his arms around the elder's shoulder where he rested his head. The win seemed to calm down when he also rounded his hand around the younger waist, looking at the younger with so much loved which made Neem coo.

Tay spoke quickly, “After you guys left, the people in the photo of P’Off papers always came and often fight with...” Tay said looked at Pluem and continued, “with uncle, your father. And a man who claimed as your stepmother's husband frequently come too along with her two other children. A son and a daughter...” as he said he sent a glance at kapook who choked on her food and started coughing.

“Excuse me...” and she was gone.

Pluem was already gone as soon as the mention of his father during the story followed by Chinom. New sighed as he looked at his little brother’s back, still resting on his husband's shoulder. Tay leaned down and peaked on the latter's forehead with so much love as he hugged the other ever tightly.

“And you are saying?” Foei directly glared at Tay as if the latter did reveal his secrets.

“What I'm saying is we need to be careful about that family too, they...” Tay tried to explain but Foei cut him off,

“Let’s try to get the daily first then we can discuss later...”

“Tay, help me get to our room, please. I feel so dizzy and nauseous...”

Peaking on New's hair for the last time, Tay helped New and went to their room, leaving everybody.

“This is so messed up.” Bright mumbled with a sign.

The next day, the first thing Tay did was visit the hospital after he found his husband fainted in the washroom. When they left the house, nobody was awake. But when they got to the hospital they were shocked.
