4. Visitor

Bright is sitting in a library, waiting for Kaothang to arrive so that they would read the diary together.

"Hey Bright..." Kaothang sit beside Bright hugging his shoulder Bright smile and responds, "So where is the diary?"

"Go and do whatever you want while I'm reading," Kaothang said after receiving the diary.

Bright nodded and went toward a bookshelf. He is looking around, hoping to get some interesting book. That's when he saw Win who read a book seriously. With a big smile, he runs toward him,

"Hey bro what's up?"

"Oh Bright, how are you?" The win looks up from his book with a sweet smile.

'He remembers my name...' Bright thought and danced a little in his head before responding,

"I'm doing fine bro. What are you reading, you look serious?"

"What are you doing here? Are you here to study too? Then go, I've to study..." Win asked.

"Yes... But can I ... Have your number now?" Bright asked softly while looking down at his shoes but looking at Win occasionally.

"Yes sure, it's **********,"  Win said with a smile.

Bright save the number lookup at Win shyly and said, "I will now then..." With that, he runs away, without noticing his smirk of Win.

'Well, it's work..." With that thought, he walk out of the library.

When he reaches Kaothang, he saw him looking so shocked. He pats his shoulder and said with a proud smile,

"No need to be so shocked, now if you are finished then let's read together."

"I'm already out of patience... Let read, let read..." Kaothang said amazed, clapping his hand like a child, very excited.

'Dear diary,

It's frustrating that my own family don't treat me as a member. My stepmother always told me to do the households chores as if I were a helper of my own family. If I disobeyed or do something without her permission then I had to starve for two days with beaten.

[New's days]

New is crying in his room, hands-on his lips so that he wouldn't make a sound. Earlier in the morning, when he made breakfast, out of excitement the breakfast had little uncooked. Then his step-mother poured all the food on him with the bowl when his brother and his father had gone to their office,

"Is this how you cooked? Then eat it all by yourself..." And was about to go when she suddenly turn and point at him, "If you tell anyone, you'll see the consequence..."

After exiting the room, Plum enter the room and start whipping his brother, "Plus, it's alright... You go and play with brother Sing, go." New said with a smile.

Pluem is 10 years old and Sing their step-brother is 17 when New is 18.

"Why did Mom pour it on you?" Pluem asked innocently.

"No, Plu... She doesn't do it on purpose, it's just slipped. Now go I've to clean this. You go and play."

After cleaning the mess, he take bath without noticing the buries on his head and burnt on his arm. But he start crying after feeling the effects of the burnt. He run to his bathroom and applied some Colgate (toothpaste) but it doesn't help.

[We sometimes used it when we are out of medicine ( ꈍᴗꈍ)]

After crying for an hour, he finally falls asleep that's when his brother and father back.
