After some flying and hoping the government aviation team doesn't find us, we find out temporary base: an abandoned barnhouse!

Before you ask, yes! I hate it here!

However, we needed a place that is far from people and had a place for me to land the helicopter. Of course, we could have landed in the middle of nowhere, but I rather have shelter because we have no idea how long we are going to be here since we don't even have a clue of what to do next.

After landing the helicopter, Shouta practically kicked me off with my current babysitter Nemuri and Rody so that he can look through it to see if he finds anything. And probably to spend time with his boyfriend, but we will ignore that little tidbit of information for now.

The three of us settled after I placed the blanket down. Currently, Nemuri is looking through the paperwork to see if Rody and I missed anything, and Rody is attempting to make food with a portable stove Shouta threw at us a little bit ago. Meanwhile, I am looking through the security footage at the police station.

Thank fuck I did because that I actually learn why I was chased!

"I fucking hate this hell," I huff aloud as soon as I figure out it.

"Same," Rody mumbles as he continues to try and light the stupid stove.

Nemuri giggles softly, "You always say that, but what's it about this time?"

"What's the chances that this case technically belongs to Humarise?" I question.

Both of them look at me more serious (I mark Rody's down because he seems to have odd reactions whenever I mention that trash ass group), and Nemuri responds, "Generally speaking? Low. With you? Probably higher than it should be. Does it belong to them?"

"Yes!"

"Ooo, yes! That makes our life easier!"

"True." She isn't wrong by any means. It means I only have to deal with one group instead of two, but still! God really had to play with me, huh?

"That's something because I am finding nothing here, Izuku. Sorry, sweetie," Nemuri explains as she passes the papers to me. I roll my eyes, setting them aside. I take note of Rody returning to his work, looking glum. I swear if this boy has a connection to this group, I'm asking Nemuri to knock me out for life.

"That's fine. It means we need to get into the case itself."

"What do you mean?"

I take the now empty case and search for what could be any hidden compartments in it. It takes a little bit of feeling, but I do feel something on the bottom outside the case like a little square indent. I try to push it in only for nothing to come out.

Goddamn it. That's going to be a bitch. Before I can even think of ideas of how to get it out, my phone goes off, and I don't hesitate to answer...for some reason.

How concerning.

"Glad to hear that you are consistent as ever with picking up your calls!" Nezu's squeaky voice buzzes through the phone, and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah yeah, did you think anything?" I ask, getting straight to the point. Otherwise, Nezu will ramble on about something.

"Ah, yes! Alan Kay was a researcher that was reported missing a while back. However, he just was reported dead under an hour ago. He was driving on a bridge when his car was shot. The car crashed, and he died on impact. May I ask where you found this case?" That's not exactly comforting, now is it? It means they are willing to kill, which is a big FU to my face. Though, I guess being almost smashed in the head probably displayed the same message, huh?
