Chapter 12: 'You just want to use me'

Peter's POV

When we walked toward the new HYDRA base building, we saw a bunch of guards guarding the building. We started running toward the building and the guards started to fight us, we got all the guards down within a few minutes, we broke into the building and ran inside. More guards ran toward us, Steve took out 3 of them in a row with his shield, Thor blasted some of them with his hammer, Natasha took a lot of them down using her awesome skills set in fighting, Wanda was using her energy manipulation to throw them against walls and out of the way, Tony was blasting all these men, and I was webbing them all up. We got through that set of guards and then we decided to split up.

"Okay, Wanda, Peter, Natasha, Bucky, and Tony go look for Y/n down that way, everyone else come with me," Steve said

We all went down this long dark corridor, People started running toward us to stop us but we handled them. We weren't sure where to look for Y/n, but I knew damn well I wasn't leaving without her. With Tony leading the way we walked into another hallway, it had doors all down it, and they looked kind of like prison cells, but all white and modern looking.

"They probably have Y/n in here," Tony said 

Y/n's POV

When I woke up, I realized that I had been changed into all-black shorts and a tee shirt.  I was sitting in the cell they threw me in, I was weak, tired, hungry, and helpless, I couldn't even use my powers because of the bracelets they put on my wrists. I sat there, then a man came in.

"Get up and come with me," He said

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell why I'm here," I said, the man walked closer to me and punched me in the eye

"You're coming with me whether you like it or not," He said and ripped me up, two more men came and walked me to a room where a guy in an all-black outfit was sitting at his desk,

"Sit down," the man said, I sat at the chair across the desk and the two men left

"Why am I here, what do you want with me?" I asked

"We know about your abilities miss Y/n, you're here so that we can keep you safe," the man said

"Bull shit, I know you're lying, you don't want to protect me, you just want to use me" 

"Now why don't you shut up, or I'll rip the power out of you. Then what are you without your power? you're worthless, so keep your mouth shut or you'll never be able to control fire again"

I sat there with my heart beating out of my chest, then a man came in,

"The experiment is ready Mr. Schmidt."

"Perfect, take Y/n down there"

"What experiment? what are you doing?" I asked

"Remember what will happen if you don't keep your  mouth shut"

The man took me to a hospital room, where I saw a scientist-looking man putting on a pair of gloves. The scientist made lay on the hospital bed and he turned on a machine, he put these stickers with wires attached to them, on my temples then I got an extremely painful headache feeling, 

"*scream* what are you doing to me?!" I asked through tears

"Hush my darling, pretty soon, you'll be on our side," the man said

Peter's POV

We all walked through the place where all of the cells were and no Y/n. We continued to look for her, we were searching for hours, we had checked almost every room, corridor, and cell that there was.
