Chapter 22: 'Is this a prank?'

Peter's POV

"May, Y/n's in the hospital," I said through tears

"What?!" she said "What happened? is she gonna be okay?"

"We don't know yet, but uhm...youre gonna think that I'm insane when I tell you what happened to her, but you need to remember that this all did happen"

"Okay, here let's sit down" We sat in the living room, I saw the news playing, it showed the Avengers compound rubble, and it was saying how everyone is back now.

"Okay so, Y/n isn't exactly who you think she is, you know Wanda and Pietro Maximoff? Well she's their sister" I said

"What? How? is this a prank?" May asked

"No May, this is real, all her life she lived in Sokovia with her parents, and siblings, Wanda and Pietro. But one day an explosive was sent to the building she was living in and her parents died, leaving just the 3 of them. They were put into an orphanage, and one day these bad people from a bad group told everyone in their city that they could help them get rid of the war in their country. The 3 of them were tested on by scientists giving them their powers-"

"Wait...Y/n has powers?" May seemed so confused

"Yes, she can control fire, and he has the same 6th sense that I have."

"Peter, did you hit your head or something?"

"No, May, I didn't. This is real," I told her their whole story, and how we actually met, and that she lives with the Avengers, and why she's in the hospital and everything. "Please believe me. how would I be able to make this up, this is real"

May hugged me, "I believe you Peter, even though it seems so unreal and crazy, I believe you. It explains a lot, like why I've never been able to meet her family or see her house, it all makes sense now...I hope she's okay"

"Me too, and I didn't even know that she had the power to heal, it just showed up today, I hope Steven can help her, it was so sad having to watch it happen, first Tony was about to die, then she helps him, and now she could die, it's horrible," I said with my eyes tearing up again

"I'm so sorry Peter, but you have to think positively, worrying won't help anything, Okay?"

"Okay...I just really don't want to lose her too"

May made tea and I told her everything that happened on Titan and earlier. it was hard trying to sleep, May told me not to worry but how am I supposed to not worry when my girlfriend could die. It was about 3 am when I got up to get some water, May was asleep on the couch and the news was still playing, they were just talking about everything that happened, like how everyone is back, and what happened at the compound. I put a blanket over May and turned off the tv, I was headed back in to my room when I got a text from Wanda who is still at the hospital with Pietro.

Wanda: Hey Peter, how you doing? Y/n hasn't woke up yet but her pulse is there again! 

"YES! oh, my god yes, she's alive!" I said

Me: Yes!! that's amazing! I'm so happy she's alive! I'm alright just tired, but I'm so much better now that I know Y/n is alive!

Wanda: Yeah us too, but there's also a 60% chance of some minor memory loss when she wakes up, 

Me: Oh, uhm, what exactly will she forget? will she forget me?

Wanda: No, no peter she wont forget anybody, just everything that happened the pass day or two so she wont remember anything from the battle earlier, or that were back, or that she saved Tony, but we can easily tell her everything that happened
