Today was just like every other day, Liz was all over Peter, and I was tired as fuck, but at lunch, I sat with MJ again, before Liz was at lunch Peter told me that Liz was having a party,
"So Y/n, Liz is having a party tonight, MJ and Ned are going, you should come to," Peter said
"Uhm, I'll think about it," I said
"c'mon, it feels like we haven't been hanging out or talking lately, it would make me happy for you to be there"
"Okay, I'll go"
Liz walked over,
"hey, what are you guys talking about," she said
"Oh, I told Y/n that she should come to you're party,"
"I didn't invite her," Liz said, looking at me like a bitch
"well, you invited the entire school, I figured that she was allowed to come too," Peter said
"I guess she can come"
"You know, I actually, my dad wouldn't let me go to a party, I think I'll sit this one out," I said
Peter looked at me weirdly because he knew my parents are dead, but nobody else knew so he stayed quiet, I read my book for the rest of the lunch period.
"*sigh* okay, maybe next time though," Peter said
"yeah"
At the end of the day, when I got home, I got a text from Peter,
Peter: hey, what's up with you, why don't you want to come to the party?
Me: it's pretty clear that Liz doesn't want me there, & I need to study anyways
Peter: did Liz say something to you, and tell you to avoid me or something,
Me: she just wants me out of the way of your guises relationship, but it's fine
Peter: no, that's not okay, she can't control you, we're friends, I don't want her to take that away from us
Me: me either,
Peter: so you'll come to the party?
Me: yes, as long as MJ's there too
Peter: great! it starts at 9:30
Me: okay c'ya
I started looking for something to wear,
