                                                        Y/N's POV

A smile formed on my lips as I opened the door of my room and went downstairs. I went to the dining table and took my seat beside Mirabel and then started eating as fast as I could.

"You must be really hungry." Mirabel says and chuckled.

"Are you in a hurry Mi vida?" papa asked as I nodded my head and finished the last bit on my food.

"I'm hanging out with Mateo today, he said he had something to tell." I replied and he nods his head repeatedly.

"Are you two dating?" Abuela asked which made me choked on my water.

"Uh, well no. Not yet."

"Don't get your hopes up. He's probably just bored, no one would want a girl spitting fire." I hear Carlos snickered. I frowned and stomped on his foot under the table. "Hey! watch it!"

"You watch your mouth." I said with a stern voice.

"Oh yeah? wanna bet?"

"Shut up."

"Weak."

"You might wanna shut your mouth before I burn off your already burnt noodle hair."

"Tch, says the one with burnt face."

"What did you say??"

"Why don't you clean your ears first."

I huffed as fire starts to form above my head. "You two quit it! Carlos! Y/n! stop." Abuela scolded. Carlos stick out his tongue before leaving and I wanna burn him in hell so bad but thankfully Mirabel calmed me down.

"You two should really stop with your childish fights." she says as she tapped my shoulder.

"As if," I crossed my arms and stormed off. Stress won't help me. Casita opened the door for me as I walked out of the house, the bright sun greeting me outside.

The town square was already filled with people, walking here and there. Everyone busy with their own things, minding their own business. My face brightened when I saw Mateo.

"Y/n!" he waves his hand. I ran to his side. "You seem to be in a bad mood."

"Yeah, just, got into a small fight at breakfast. But it's fine. You said you have to tell me about something?" I asked. He nods his head.

"Oh, right. I'd like you to meet Elisa." he says as a girl with a blonde hair appeared from behind him. "She's my childhood friend from my hometown." she waves a hand and I waved back with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you." I held out a hand and she gladly accepts it. Boy, she was pretty. She has this gorgeous hazel brown eyes, maybe an inch taller than me and she has a slim figure too.

"Y/n, I heard you're one of the Madrigals." she points at Casita.

"Hmm," I hummed and nodded.

"Hey, uh, since she's still new here, why don't we give her a tour for today? and maybe you can introduce her to the Madrigals too." Mateo suggested. I thought for a moment and nod my head hesitantly. A tour wouldn't be so bad.

"We can show her the town first before we go to the casita." I said. They both nod their heads as we began our first tour.

We went to different shops first and then some places to hangout or relax. Then we went to the cornfield, flower field and lastly the river. I was following them from behind 'cause I'm starting to feel left out as they were talking about their lives from when they were kids and blah blah blah.

I can say I got annoyed, they never even spare a glance at me or maybe change the topic so that I could join in. But nooo, everytime Mateo tries to bring up about the Encanto, she goes back to talking about their hometown.

Okay, now I don't like her.

I huffed as we finally arrived at Casita. Time to shine, I guess. Casita opened the door widely for us to enter. Tia Pepa and Tio Felix were just heading down from the stairs, they saw us and greeted us with smiles on their faces.

"This is Elisa, she's new in town." I introduced, both nod their heads.

"It's nice to see you Elisa." Tia Pepa says.

"This is my Tia Pepa, she has the power to control the weather with her emotions. And this is Tio Felix, her husband." I explained. She nods her head. We said goodbye to the couple as we head to the kitchen.

"That's Tia Julieta, she can heal you with her delicious meals." I pointed at Julieta who was busy cooking, she waved a hand. "On her right is Tio Agustin, her husband." Agustin smiled brightly. "And on her left is my cousin Mirabel." Mirabel walks towards us.

"Hola." she greeted. Elisa nods her head and smiled. We went to the living room where the others were, probably taking a rest.

"This is Luisa, she has super strength." I pointed at Luisa, who's sleeping cutely on the couch while hugging a donkey plushie.

"This is Dolores, she has super hearing and this is her husband Mariano." I pointed at the couple as they wave a hand.

I was about to say something when I was interrupted by a slam on the door from upstairs. "That's my prima Isabela, she can grow flowers and plants." I whispered at her and she nods her head.

"And..." I paused as my eyes were looking for the twins. Just then we heard the front door open and entered the two shapeshifters who were both laughing. Guess they got away after causing another trouble.

The two looked at us, Camilo with a slightly surprised face to see a guest and Carlos who was looking up and down at Elisa. "Wait, it's Carlos right? We've met yesterday." Elisa points at Carlos who's now in his poker face.

"And your point is?" he says rather rudely. I nudged him by the shoulder.

"I see... well now that you know Carlos, I'd like to introduce Camilo. They're both shapeshifters." I pulled Camilo by the shoulders and made him stand beside me. He waves a hand.

"You two really look like each other." she commented.

"That's why were called twins, dumbass." I heard Carlos whispered and scoffed. It seems like Elisa heard it when she eyed him.

"We'll be right back."  I laughed awkwardly as I pulled Carlos along with me through the hallway near the bathroom. "Will you stop with the rude attitude?" I put both hands on my hips.

"Will you stop acting that you actually like that girl?" he asked back. I frowned at him. "What? don't tell me it's not true."

"Okay, It is but that's not the point--"

"Then shut up and let me do my own thing." he flicked a finger on my forehead and left me dumbfounded.
