Carlos' POV

I woke up with a really bad headache. Sitting up, I did a little stretch and rubbed my eyes with my hand as I remember the scenario last night.

A smirk plastered on my face as my hand reached for my lips. That was the best night I ever had.

"Fuck." I whispered to myself when I noticed I was having a little situation after lifting up the blanket.

Ookay. This might take a while.

But I'm not really in the mood, I feel like getting sick today. My room seems to be in a high temperature. I feel really hot and I just wanna sleep for the whole day.

What the fuck is happening to me?

Y/N's POV

"Is there anything else I can help you with, señora?" I asked and gently placed the basket on the table.

The old lady shook her head. " I'm afraid I might be taking too much of your time, hija."

"No no no, it's alright. I'd like to help you, and besides, there's no one else waiting for me back there. Mi familia seems busy with their own jobs." I smiled sheepishly.

"Yeah, but there might be someone. You have someone who's really close to you though?"

"Well, yeah there is." I said as I let out the things in the basket and put them on the kitchen cupboard.

"Oh, I see." I saw her smile. "Anyway, after that, you can go. I can finish this up myself. Thanks for helping me out."

"No worries señora." I smiled and waved goodbye.

"See you around, dear." she waves back before closing the door.

I sighed and walked off, hoping to find a bench so I could sit and rest for a while. Luckily, I found one and immediately sat peacefully.

I was looking at the children playing when the scenario from last night flashed through my mind. For a second, I found myself smiling.

Drunk Carlos can be a real flirt and wild, exactly the opposite of his usual cold personality.

"Hola." A girl approached me with a wide smile on her face.

"Wait, I remember you . You're that little girl I met the other day." I said and she nods in response.

"Mm hmm, and I made another flower crown for you." she says and put it on my head carefully. She then gestured me to come closer. "My friend actually wanted to give it you, I think he likes you." She whispered in my ear and pointed at the little boy standing near an apple stall.

I let out an 'oh' and smiled at the little boy which he immediately looked away, getting all flustered. We both chuckled. "What's your name again?" I asked.

"My name's Mikayla." she said with a smile.

"Mikayla, that's a pretty name."

"And you're Y/n, right? One of the Madrigals."

"Well, I'm not exactly one of them... Just blessed with a gift and a family." I looked down, fidgeting my fingers.

She placed her tiny hand in mine and smiled cutely. "That's okay, my parents were divorced so I live with my Abuela." she sighed.

"Oh, Lo Siento. That must've been hard for you, you know, growing up without them."

"I don't really mind though. My Abuela's love is enough for me. At least I still have a family."

"Yeah, you're right."

We both went silent for a while. "I probably should get home. My abuela might be looking for me. Bye!" she waves her hand and ran off, leaving me smiling, admiring her cuteness.
