Y/N's POV
"Nothing." Carlos immediately answered.
"O...Kay," I smiled awkwardly and looked over at Camilo who seemed like he was about to say something.
"You guys okay? You stopped talking when we came. Is there something going on?" I asked again, eager to get a clear answer.
"No, nothing. We were just talking about you guys. I see you finally get along." Mirabel says pointing towards me and Isabela.
I nod my head and smiled. "Yeah, we're in good terms now." Isabela responds, with a smile.
"Hey y/n, about Mateo, I heard they just moved out. Which means you don't have to deal with him anymore."
"Not to be rude. But that's actually great. For me of course. You know, after being heartbroken." I chuckled and Camilo nudged Carlos by the shoulder.
My eyebrows furrowed at them both. "Bye guys, I gotta go. Have to do some sewing." Mirabel excuses herself.
"Let me help you out sis, since you have really bad taste in fashion." Isabela mocks. Mirabel threw a glare at her but she just shrug it off and laughed. Dolores had excused herself too, saying she had to meet someone.
"I gotta go too." Camilo says.
"Where are you going? Are you going out to prank people again?"
"Wai-what? No. Just, uh, need some fresh air. Bye!" with that, he then ran off out of the house leaving me and Carlos alone.
"Are you going somewhere too?" I asked.
Never knew I'd miss him ranting to me about the girls he rejects.
"Uh, I actually still have to clean my room. Mami might create another hurricane if I don't." he scratches his nape. I nodded my head as I watch him turn his back on me and walk off.
"Do you need any help though?" I offered.
He turned around and thought for a moment. "As long as you don't burn off my things. Yes, sure." I smiled and walked to his side. "Can I ask?"
"What is it?"
"Why are being so kind to me today?" my question made him chuckled. "What? What's funny?"
"Nothing. It's just that, I was actually the one who made Mateo move out from this town."
My jaw dropped as I stopped dead in my tracks. I hit his head but the jerk kept on laughing. "What did you do to him?"
"It's none of your business. At least you won't be able to see his ugly face anymore."
"You jerk!" I tried to kick him but he quickly dodged.
"What? I thought you were done with him?"
"Yes, I am."
"Then why are you angry at me for making him move out?"
"I'm not angry, just... Annoyed."
"Or you still like him."
"No, I don't. I like someone else." I blurted out.
He looked at me with a fake surprised face. "And who's this lucky guy? Do I know him?" his face suddenly became serious. It was as if he was curious about the guy I was talking about.
Which was actually him.
Wait. No.
Nevermind.
I shoved his face away. "Hey! You haven't answered my question yet. Who is he?"
