You sat at the table with a plate of food placed in front of you. Aunt Wakana sat across from you with a worried look on her face.
"I was so worried last night! I didn't know where you were" she said as you picked up your fork.
"I'm sorry, I met some new friends and didn't have time to let you know where I was" you said with your head down.
"You made some friends y/n? That's amazing! What are they like? Are they nice to you? You can have them over anytime you know. When can I meet them?"
You smiled to see that she was so excited to see that you had made friends. Unfortunately you knew you couldn't invite them over or Aunt Wakana would freak.
You knew she didn't need a reply so you smiled to yourself and ate your breakfast as she continued to ask you questions.
School became more fun knowing you had Takemichi to talk to during class, and knowing that you would be able to see Toman later.
You ate with Takemichi and his friends at lunch, and they were definitely interesting.
"Takemichi you never told us you had such a pretty friend" said his friend with black short hair
"Leave her alone! She probably doesn't want to talk to you creepy guys" said one who had long blonde hair, "sorry about my friends."
You looked around at all of them and began to laugh.
"That's ok! Thank you for letting me eat lunch with you" you thanked them.
"No problem gorgeous, you can eat with us anytime you want" said the guy with glasses.
"Shut up Yamagishi!"
Everyone burst out laughing and you began to realize how fun school could be when you had people to talk to.
School ended and you and Takemichi had planned meet at the shrine at 7:50 to wait for the Toman meeting to start. You walked home quickly so you could prepare.
"I'm home Aunt Wakana! I'm going to meet with my friends later tonight so you don't have to worry about me" you shouted into the house as you took your shoes and backpack.
"Okay but don't be too late!" she replied, doing some dishes.
You ran up to your room and laid out some new clothes, changing out of your uniform.
You flopped back down at your bed as you stared at your ceiling. It felt like time was going by slower than ever.
Laying on your bed you thought about all the friends that you had made. You were making so many you could barely even name them all! It was fun to have things, and people on your mind.
