"Are you alright y/n? You look sad lately" asked aunt Wakana as she came and sat beside you on her couch.
It was the truth. You were really upset.
Since the day of Pah's arrest, and you hadn't seen Mikey. You hadn't received any messages from him either.
You longed to go to one of their meetings again and ride on the back of Mikey's bike. You missed talking and laughing with the Tokyo Manji Gang.
You turned your head away from Aunt Wakana so she couldn't see your sad expression, but she turned your head gently so you faced her.
"You can tell me what's wrong y/n." she said in a soft tone.
You glanced at her face and gave in. Maybe it would be nice to tell someone about what had been going on.
"I've made a lot of friends recently" you began. Aunt Wakana listened carefully, "one in particular I always think about"
"I love talking to them, doing things with them, and even just being near them makes me happy" you continued as you thought about all the fun you had, "...but they haven't contacted me for about a week. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong..."
Aunt Wakana nodded and pulled you in for a hug.
"I'm sure they'll realize how much they miss you, and they'll come running back for you y/n!" she exclaimed with a smile.
You couldn't help but smile at her positive words.
"This isn't like Mikey! Usually he would force me to do things with him"
After realizing what you had said, you quickly covered your mouth.
"Mikey? You've been doing things with a boy? He's forcing you, too?" Aunt Wakana asked with a terrified expression on her face.
"No! I mean, I've been hanging out with him that's all, but we're only friends, I promise!" I explained frantically as you blushed, "Besides, I don't think he would try anything like that. He's really nice"
Aunt Wakana still seemed suspicious of him.
"I better keep a closer eye on you from now on. You sure he's only your friend?"
"I would never even think of making him my boyfriend, I swear!" I defended.
Aunt Wakana smiled and walked back to the kitchen where she was preparing dinner.
"Maybe you should go see some of your other friends to get your mind off of him" suggest aunt Wakana.
It wasn't a bad idea! You sent Emma and Hina a text.
