Takemichi's POV:

Surely the future has changed now - I was able to save Draken. This means that hopefully I was able to save Hina too.

Because I was able to prevent the death of Draken, Mikey wouldn't lose himself. He had someone to keep him in place - Toman wouldn't turn evil and kill Hina.

I don't think I'm ready to see her again in the future. Maybe it's best if I give her space, since future me isn't someone she would want to spend time with. Who knows, maybe I'll be rich in this timeline.

Now that I think about it, y/n wasn't a member of Toman in the future I came from. Could this have an effect on the future?

I guess there's only one way to find out.

Standing in front of Naoto, I held out my hand to shake his hand - the trigger to my time leaping powers.

Grasping his hand in mine, I felt a jolt run through my body. I only hoped that I was successful in changing the past to save the girl I loved.

12 years later

I opened my eyes to an all too familiar surrounding. I was working a shift at the store, getting bossed around by my younger boss. Oh how embarrassing it was, I'm not even getting paid good.

The future may have changed, but I'm still the lame old Takemichi.

I guess I can't complain. Hina could be alive in this timeline.

Suddenly I felt the vibration of my phone in my pocket, picking it up and answering the call to Naoto's voice.

"Takemichi! You've done it. Come to my place now!" exclaimed Naoto excitedly.

I almost didn't believe him.

Arriving at his apartment, I was greeted by a smiling Naoto. It was the happiest I'd ever seen him. He pulled me in for a hug.

"You saved my sister, Takemichi." said Naoto softly into my ear.

I couldn't respond to him, since even I was shocked she was alive.

"We should go visit her now!" said Naoto, holding his hands on your shoulders.

I would give anything to go see Hina all grown up now, but I didn't want to be selfish.

"I think I'm just going to stay back." I said to Naoto.

"What are you saying? You put in so much effort to save her!" says Naoto, confused.

"Naoto, I work a terrible job and my apartment is so cheap that the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbours whispering. Besides, I don't even know if Hina will still love me."

Naoto shook his head in disbelief.

"Takemichi, my sister fell in love with you, and you haven't changed one bit from the past. You're still the guy who never gave up on her. I'm sure she would be really happy to see you." began Naoto, pointing his finger at you.

"I'm not ready yet. I'm sorry" I said with my head low, walking out of my apartment.

Someday I would be ready to face Hina again. I don't think I could look at her now without crying. I'm a crybaby after all, that's what Mikey always said.

Opening the door to leave the apartment complex, I bumped into a woman with a head of long pink hair.

"Takemichi, you always appear out of nowhere don't you?" said the soft voice from in front of me.

I looked at the woman in front of me and immediately I felt tears stream down my face. The girl I loved, Hina was here in front of me.
