"Hold still y/n" Mitsuya demands as he wraps a measuring tape around my waist.
"Don't you already have my measurements? Is there a reason you're taking them again?" Mitsuya focused his eyes and quickly wrote something down in a notebook along with a few notes. He hummed and removed the needle placed neatly in his mouth.
"Yeah, I don't want to irritate your fresh scar." he says as if it was obvious.
"Oh come on that was a month ago! Besides, you don't need to fix my uniform for every time I get a scar. Trust me, if Mikey lets me stay in this gang I'll be getting a lot more of them too." you explain. Mitsuya only scoffs at your comment.
"You won't be getting any more scars. Not on my watch."
"I doubt it."
Mitsuya sighed and set down his books on his desk which was overflowing with future designs. Taking my hands in his, he held them out so he could get a close look. Scanning my knuckles with his soft eyes, he looked back up at my eyes and smiled.
"I can tell you fight. Your hands look like every other Toman member." I smiled at his comment. "I see why you're good friends with Yuzuha. She can really fight too y'know" His comment took me by surprise.
"She fights?" He nods in response. "Is that where she gets her injuries from?" Mitsuya pauses his sketch and looked up to my eyes with a surprised expression. He moved closer and lowered the tone of his voice.
"You noticed?"
"Yeah, and I'm worried about her."
Mitsuya hugged me tight and moved his head by my ear.
"It's their older brother. I know Taiju hurts them, especially Yuzuha." he whispers. "I'm gonna bring an end to it."
His words didn't shock me, however an aching pain lingered in my chest after what Mitsuya had told me.

As I began to trot home from Mitsuyas, I couldn't help but notice the ominous environment of my house. Strangely, all of the lights were off both inside and outside even with Aunt Wakana home. I hesitated before approaching our doorway, where I caught a glimpse of 4 red jugs by the garage. A package perhaps?
Out of pure curiosity I approached the mysterious delivery. It only looked as if a delivery man had tried to hide them, though they hadn't done a very good job as the bold red colour was still very visible even during the dark nighttime. I knelt down beside the out-of-place objects and picked one up in my hands. Each one filled with a sloshing liquid with a strong smell, I assumed them to be Gasoline.
When I stood for a moment and pondered, I wasn't able to think of a use Aunt Wakana would have for gasoline. We didn't own any vehicles that were powered by gasoline. Perhaps it was a wrong address for this delivery.
Shrugging off the strange discovery, I then proceeded into my oddly quiet home.
"Are you in there Aunt Wakana?" I shouted into the home. "Sorry I couldn't be home earlie I was just as Mitsuya's and-"
"y/n?" I heard her quiet voice from down the dark hall. I shuddered as I caught a glimpse of her slowly-walking figure making its way towards me. "What's going on?"
"What do you mean?"
"Our house was broken into while we weren't home. They got in through the window." She says in fear as her arm points to the window which still remained open. A light wind blew onto my face from the opening.
"Nothing was stolen or damaged. Did you know about this?" she questions me with a sudden change in emotion. An obvious sense of fear was present in her voice.
"What? Of course not! If nothing was damaged or
broken, how do you know we were broken into in the first place?"She gazes at me in fear before taking hold of my wrist and leading me towards our doorway. Suddenly she pointed at a mysterious symbol on our living room wall that resembled a bullseye or target. Painted with dark red paint, it was almost impossible to miss.
"Our house has been marked, y/n."
I brought my trembling hands up to my mouth and clutched Aunt Wakana's arm.
"We could be in danger! We need to call the police in case something happens to us." I said as I reached for the phone and began to dial. Suddenly she reached for my hand and shook her head.
"y/n you know the police won't be able to help us without more evidence. We don't want to waste their time just because of a suspicion. If you're still worried I'll call them tomorrow morning. You rest up for now, okay?"
I was far too exhausted to disagree, so I nodded and simply headed to my room. By the time I was ready for bed, I was barely able to shut my eyes. I could only pray that Aunt Wakana and I would be safe.
