Running to Mikey, you moved his bloody hair to see his face. His eyes were shut, and he looked as if he were peacefully resting.

"I'm keeping our promise. I'll protect you." you whispered, though you knew he couldn't hear you.

You stood up to shield him from the Valhalla guys who had seen this as the perfect chance to take out Mikey.

They were moving quickly. In no time they would get to Mikey and potentially hurt him.

You shook off the pain in your knuckles and prepared to fight them off alone.

But before they reached you, someone had already knocked them out. Those glasses and earrings...
It was Kisaki.

"I'll be in charge of protecting Mikey while he's unconscious! Everyone else keep fighting!" shouted Kisaki.

Toman cheered as if Kisaki was their saviour.

He turned to you and fixed his glasses.

"You. Leave."

"No! I don't trust you with him." you defended.

"I'm a higher up to you. Obey me."

Your lip quivered and you moved away from the unconscious Mikey in defeat.

Something was up with Kisaki, No wonder Takemichi didn't trust him. Even though he was in the same gang as you, he spoke to you as if you were only a small fly in the way of his plan.

You remained on the mountain of rubble, fighting for Mikey from a distance - away from Kisaki.

It surely was difficult to fight on top of metal parts, considering you couldn't plant your feet for a good kick. You relied solely on your fists to fight.

Your hands burned and your feet ached, you weren't sure how much longer you could push. Mikey needed you though, you didn't have a choice.

Kazutora no longer lay where he used to. You'd never even realized he had gained consciousness again. Worried for who he might hurt next, you looked around the fight for a head of tiger-like hair.

Looking down from the top of the rubble Baji caught your eye again. This time his white jacket was painted in blood around his abdomen.

It was exactly the way Draken had looked when he got stabbed.

You leaped from the mountain and swiftly made your way to Baji.

"Baji! Are you alright?" you shouted as you ran to him.

He turned to you, a stream of blood from his mouth.

"y/n, I've been..." he didn't finish his sentence, but it was clear what had happened.

Baji had a stab wound in his back, a deep one too.
Your hands shook in fear but Baji smiled faintly.

"I'm fine. I won't die from a wound this small!"

Baji was still his old reckless self, even with a stab wound in his back.
