Spencer was in jail. He spent the last few months in jail and you were terrified that you would lose him. The team keeps calling you, keeping you in the loop with what was happening to your friend. You had decided to move back to Virginia, since having a music career didn't really require you to stay in one place.
Today was the day he was getting out. It had been a long few months, knowing what Spencer was going through in there. You had finally proved that he was framed, but not by Scratch. It was Cat who was actually behind it.
You could help but think about how much you still love him every day since he was locked away. You both had rekindled your friendship and it was better than you could ever imagine. You had fallen even more in love with him in the time you had him back and you knew that you couldn't stay quiet much longer.
While you stood outside the gate waiting for Spencer to walk out with Emily you couldn't help but feel nervous. You were going through all the what ifs in your head and they were not helping. Like what if he didn't want to see you, or what if he was hurt. What if they shaved off his hair? That one came out of nowhere but was still terrifying. His hair was so fluffy and you loved playing with it, how could you part with it.
You looked up when you heard the gate slide open. Spencer walked out, decked in a suit with Emily following behind her. Penelope ran and gave him a hug, you standing back to let them have their moment. Once Spencer let go he looked over to see you. You saw him relax and tears started forming in both your eyes.
He opened his arms for a hug and you ran towards him, wrapping him in a hug. You wrapped your legs around his waist and he picked you up, squeezing you tighter to him. You breathed him in. He still smelt the same. The smell was faded, mixed with the smell of prison, but it was still Spencer. You let your hands slip into his hair while a few tears fell down your face.
"I missed you so much." You whispered as he sat you down, still not pulling away from the hug.
"I missed you too." Spencer said.
You finally pulled away so you could get in the SUV and drive back to the FBI headquarters. Once you got there Spencer said hello to the rest of the team, getting used to being free. Once he was ready to leave you drove him home. He rested his head against his seat, looking at you instead of out the window. You looked over at him, only for a split second because you were driving, and gave him a smile.
"What?" You asked.
"Nothing. I'm just enjoying the view." Spencer answered.
"Then why aren't you looking out the window?" You asked.
"Because the view isn't as beautiful as you." He answered.
"Well, thank you." You said.
You tried hiding the blush on your face but you knew he noticed it. You pulled up in front of his apartment building and turned to him.
"Have a good night, Spence." You said.
"Can you come up? Please. I don't want to be alone tonight." He begged.
"Of course." You said.
Was it the best idea to go up with him? No, but you still did it. He just got out of prison and you wanted him to be comfortable with the world again. You walked up with him, and he unlocked the door to let you in first. Once inside you take off your shoes and jacket. You went to lay on the couch, playing on sleeping there but Spencer protested.
"No, don't sleep on the couch. We can share the bed." He said.
"Are you sure? I don't want to make you uncomfortable." You asked.
