An: I have a serious question. If I made an insta account for little sneak peaks and shit like that for my books would yall actually be interested in that? Like I would post when I plan on posting a new story, and sneak peaks on there. I would also probably take ideas on there as well. There are many things I would do with it but I dont want to put all of this work into it and no one is actually interested in it.

You were neighbors with Spencer Reid and both of you were the same age. You had just turned 16 and Spencer had just finished his first masters degree. He was the smart one in the friendship. He was visiting his mother, meaning he got to visit you. You were trying to figure out how to tell Spencer you were moving to Virginia. He is currently enrolled in Caltech, which is the only other place he goes to other than Las Vegas.

Spencer knocked on your bedroom door, waiting for you to tell him he could come in. Your parents had let him in when he arrived. You told him he could come in and as soon as he did he ran to give you a hug. It had been a few months since the last time you had seen him.

"I missed you." He exclaimed.

"I missed you." You said.

"You seem sad. You ok?" Spencer asked.

"Yeah." You answered.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" He asked.

"I know Spence. I promise I will tell you later." You answered.

"Ok if you say so." Spencer said.

The day passed faster than you would have liked. You all just hung around at your house, watching movies. You all ate dinner and then headed back to your room. Spencer was going to go home around 10 and it was already 9:30. You all sat on the bed and Spencer turned to you.

"Can you tell me what's been on your mind all day?" He asked.

"I'm moving." You whispered.

"What?" He asked.

"My mom got a better job in Virginia. We are moving in a month. I have to finish high school there." You explained.

"That means I can't see you anymore." Spencer said.

"I know." You whispered.

You felt a tear fall down your cheek and you quickly wiped it away. Spencer wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into a hug. You let the tears fall, crying into his chest.

"It will be ok. We will find a way to see each other." Spencer said.

"Maybe." You said.

He held you in his arms for a few minutes before he pulled away.

"I need to be getting home but I will come see you tomorrow morning before I leave." Spencer said.

"Ok. Before you go I have something to give you." You said.

You hopped off the bed, running towards your dresser. You had bought him a gold switchblade necklace. You had wanted to give him something so he could remember you. You knew he couldn't forget you because of his eidetic memory but you still wanted to get him something. You picked up the small box hide in your dresser. You walked over to him, handing him the box.

"I would have gotten you something too if I knew this was how the night was going to end." Spencer said.

You watched as he opened the box. You didn't know if he would like it or not. He smiled brightly, picking up the switchblade. He hooked it around his neck, fiddling with the switchblade.

"I love it." He said.

"Good, cause I bought us matching ones. So now we are connected even when we are far from each other." You explained.
