Ace's POV

Female omegas surround me as I walk through the street of the pack. I don't understand why they are so obsessed with me, everyone in the whole goddamn pack knows I'm gay. And it's not like this is a one time thing, this literally happens every time I try to go anywhere outside the pack house

As I was walking through the streets of town, I felt as if I was being watched. I turn around to find myself face to face with Alexis, the omega that has been obsessed with me since middle school

"What do you want Alexis" I say as I roll my eyes. Why did she have to be like this?

"Can't I just visit my future mate" she said as she bit her lip

"For the last time Alexis, I'm gay. Therefore I will never mate you" I said in a annoyed tone. She seems to never be able to get this through her thick skull

"Well if you don't mate a female how do you expect to have a heir the rule the pack when you can't" she said with a smug look on her face. Oh how I wish I could smack the look off her face

" So wouldn't it be better to just mate with someone you've known for a long time" she says has she starts to run her hand up my chest

It took everything I had to not throw up from this sensation. Her doing this made me want to throw her into the side of a building . Just the thought of a girl touching me in anyway like this made me nauseous

I grabbed her hand and removed it from my chest, than before she could process what happened I started walking back to the pack house. But something she said got me thinking, how will I have a heir if I don't mate a female?

Just as I was approaching the pack house, a loud voice sounded through the streets of town

"Ace! We need to talk now!" His father yelled down the streets grabbing everyone's attention

"Coming!" I yelled back as I started to run to the pack house. I couldn't help but wonder what my dad wanted to talk about

I walk into the pack house and straight to my dad's office. He is sitting in his chair looking over some papers concerning the Run of the Wolves. Please don't tell me that's what he wants to talk to me about

"Hello father" I say, bringing him out of his thoughts

"Oh hello son, your probably wondering why I called you here"

"Well as you know the Run of the Wolves will be occurring in a few days" he said. Dang it

"I want you to participate this year" he said with a smile on his face

I wasn't expecting this

"WHAT" I yelled

"Father, you can't be serious. You know I'm gay, and the Run of the Wolves is to showcase omegas which are all females!" I can't believe he would actually suggest something like this

"I understand you don't have any interest in mating a female, but you might find someone who is different." He said with a smirk on his face

What's with that face. If he hiding something from me?

"Anyway I want you to at least try to find a mate during the run. If you ever want to be leader you need a mate and heir" he said

"Alright, I'll try father" i walk out of his office and shut the door.

I walk to my room still thinking about the conversation we just had. The worst part about that discussion was that all the thing he said were true. If I ever wanted to be leader of the Blue Moon Pack I would need to find a mate.

I walked into my room and fall on my bed. The Run of the Wolves was in a few days, that gives me a few days to prepare myself.

I fall into a deep slumber thinking about how my life is going to completely change all because of some dumb event.
