Kai's POV

I feel oddly warm right now, and more comfortable than I have felt in a long time. I try to shift in my sleep but something was holding me in place. I opened my eyes to find myself face to face with a sleeping alpha

I quickly pull myself out of his arms, not caring if I woke him up. I run out of the room I was in and found myself looking down the massive hallway. There was at least 30 rooms here, whoever kidnapped me must be loaded

I heard the bed in the other room squeak indicating that the alpha had woken up and was out of bed. So acting on instinct, I ran into the nearest room, locked the door and started to panic

So many thoughts were running through my head. It was kinda overwhelming

'Where am I'

'Why am I here'

'Why was I in a bed with an alpha'

Processing what I just thought, I quickly move the collar of my shirt out of the way and checked for a mark. Surprisingly all I was met with was my normal tanned skin. I sigh in relief, moving so that I was leaning against the door

Suddenly I hear footsteps coming towards the door I was leaning on. I started panicking again as I heard the door handle jingle, thank god I locked the door. Unfortunately this sense of relief didn't last long, soon enough the doorknob clicked indicating that it had been unlocked

I quickly got to my feet to ran to the other side of the room and hid in the closet. I heard footsteps right outside the closet door and I prayed that he wouldn't find me. But just to my luck he opened the door and his eyes met mine instantly

This man looked oddly familiar. I then realize it's the hot alpha that was staring at me from the starting line. He looks even better now that I can see him up close. I can now really see all the features of his face

'Wow, his eyes are even prettier up close and , WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING'

I was brought out of my thoughts by a heavenly voice.

"You don't need to be scared pup, I won't hurt you" the man said as he slowly moved closer to me.

I started growling at him, warning him to stay back and he seem to get the message because he stopped right where he was at. I watched him carefully, making sure he didn't try to harm me in any way.

The man sat down right in front of me and scanned me with his eyes, making sure not to miss one tiny detail

"Wow, your even more beautiful when your awake"

His comment caused a little tint of pink to brush my cheeks and my heart to beat faster.

'Why is this happening to me, I've never felt this way before. I don't like this feeling'

"I never got your name, do you mind telling me it pup" he said as he looked into my eyes, never breaking contact.

I stayed silent and slowly started to shift away from him. What did this alpha want from me?

"I understand if you don't want to tell me, you probably need some time to get comfortable here. I'll check up on you in a few minutes." He stood up and started walking towards the door

'What did he mean when he said "get comfortable"? I need answers'

"Wait" I said in a quiet voice

He turned around and looked at me, still smiling at me like we were friends

"Yes pup"

"First of all don't call me that, second of all who are you and where am I?"

A look of confusion spread across his face before his eyes widened in realization

" Oh how rude of me, I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Ace and this is your new home"

But seriously sorry that I haven't been updating this story. I've been taking some time off to deal with some mental and physical health issues. I'm gonna try to get used to updating again so sorry if I don't update sometimes. Thank you to the people that have been supportive (and constantly reminding me that this story still exists 😅) I love u all and I'll do my best to continue this story
