I was bored over spring break so I decided to make this. This is my first story some cut me so slack please.

Today was the day I have been dreading for the past month. Today is the day the Run of the Wolves will occur
I was woken up at the crack of dawn by none other than Noah
"Hey Kai, you told me to wake you up early today remember" Noah said as he leaned over my bed
"Yeah, thanks for reminding me" I replied as I stood up for my bed and walked to the bathroom
"No problem Kai" he yelled back at me as he walked back upstairs, probably going back to sleep. I can't blame him since it was only 3 in the morning
I turned on the shower and waited for it to get warm. The day of the run, every omega that will be participating in the event has to be "presentable". This means all the omegas had to make sure they looked clean and flawless and then wear the outfit that was picked out for them by the head alphas of the pack
I got out of the shower ( because I don't feel like writing something while he is in the shower) and went to my closet to find my assigned outfit

This years outfit was not that bad, but I would have preferred if I didn't have to wear the crop top. The girls would probably have to wear something like this but with shorts instead of jeans
I look at the time at see that there was two hours before the run would start. And since omegas had to get there early so they were ready to be presented, I had to be there earlier. I quickly put on my white converse and ran out the door
{ Time Skip to the forest because I'm lazy}
The alphas just started to show up and I already feel weighed down by all the pressure. I could feel dozens of eyes on me and it was starting to make me uncomfortable
"Attention all participants, the Run of the Wolves is about to begin. All omegas please report to the starting line." a man over the intercom announced
All the other omegas and myself started to walk over to the starting line. But as I was walking I noticed a particular alpha staring at me
He had dirty blond hair, grayish eyes , and sharp facial features. I have to admit, he was hot
And call me crazy, but by the way he looking at me it was almost like he was thinking the exact same thing
The sound of the intercom pulled me out of my thoughts
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the annual Run of the Wolves!" The crowd erupted into cheers and howls
"Now I'm pretty sure most of y'all know the rules, but I'm still required to say them so. As soon as the horn is sounded, all the omegas shift and head into the forest. On the 10 minute mark, the alphas will be released. Any omega that can make it through the forest without getting claimed is free to go. There is to be no mating until all omega have either been claimed are have finished the run. Now are y'all ready!"
I payed attention to all the omegas reactions. The ones that were cheering were the ones that would probably get claimed on purpose. The ones that didn't respond would try to finish the run, but would most likely fail. And the ones that rolled their eyes are scowled, like me would be the ones to mostly finish the run
"On your mark"
I looked behind me to see the same alpha from earlier still staring at me
"Get set"
He noticed I was looking at him and a smirk covered his face. Now I understood what he wants, he wants to claim me. But this alpha had no idea who he was dealing with
