Kelsi

"Okay, come in," I said to Kurt as I unlocked the door to my apartment. I nervously allowed him to enter, closing the door behind us. I watched as Kurt looked around, taking in the space.
"Nice place," he commented.
"Thanks," I answered awkwardly. We stood in my doorway for a moment silently. "So, uh, you want to watch tv or something?"
"We could," Kurt answered. I looked into his blue eyes and I could sense that he was thinking about what happened between us earlier at Krist and Shelli's. I took a step closer to him. He reached his arms out to embrace me. I put my hands on either side of his face. My breath caught in my throat as he leaned closer to me. Our lips pressed together and I felt a rush of warmth surround me.
"Or we could go see my bedroom," I whispered suggestively in Kurt's ear after we stopped kissing. I noticed a faint hint of a blush on his cheeks as he grew silent. Still, he smirked at me.
I took his hand and led him to my bedroom. I stood in front of my bed and Kurt faced me. We gazed at one another intently. He reached out and brushed a stray hair out of my face. I drew in a breath. There was silence all around us but electricity crackled through the air.
"Kurt." I spoke softly and reached out for him. I put my hand on his chest, over his heart. He placed his hand over mine and squeezed it. I stepped even closer to him, closing the space between us as he wrapped me up in his arms.
Very gently, Kurt began to kiss me again. I kissed him back, marveling at how perfect this seemed. He kissed my cheek and jawline. Every kiss and touch seemed deliberate, as he pressed his lips against my neck and collarbone.
I grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it upward. He helped me remove his shirt. He seemed timid for a moment, but I admired his body, which was beautiful with smooth pale skin. We kissed again and he wrapped his arms around me, sliding his hands under my shirt. I helped him pull it off.
Soon our other articles of clothing littered the floor as we made our way to the bed. Even though I'd only known Kurt a short while, I was sure that I wanted him.
What happened next was more amazing than I have words to describe. Kurt was slow and gentle, and just as sweet as could be. I had never felt this way with anyone else before. Afterwards, we held one another in a comfortable silence. I rested my head on his chest and listened to the steady beating of his heart.
"Kurt," I said finally, lifting my head and looking him in the eye. "You make me really happy."
"You make me feel really happy too, Kels." Kurt smiled.
"We aren't rushing things too fast, are we?" I asked. It didn't feel that way to me but I wanted to make sure that Kurt felt the same. His face fell.
"Do you regret what we did, Kelsi?" I could see hurt in his eyes.
"No. No, Kurt. Not at all. It was perfect. I just—I'm like a real adult now, and I want to try to be more responsible."
"Were we irresponsible?" Kurt asked.
"No, we weren't," I answered.
"Then what's the matter, sweetheart?"
"Nothing. I guess I just thought maybe since it was so soon, you might regret..." Kurt cut me off.
"I don't regret anything. Kelsi, I know it hasn't been long, but I want to be with you. Okay?" He brushed his hand over the side of my cheek. He was so sincere.
"I want to be with you too," I answered.
"Then everything is right with the world," Kurt whispered in my ear, pulling me close to him again.
I soon drifted off to sleep, wrapped in Kurt's arms.
I slept better than I had in ages. When I awoke, a pair of stunning blue eyes were watching me in the early morning light.
"Good morning, beautiful," Kurt whispered. I grinned at him.
"Good morning." I couldn't resist running my fingers through his soft blonde hair. Kurt kissed me. Before I knew it, we were repeating the events of the night before. Afterwards we cuddled.
"I can't believe I get a whole week here with you," Kurt said, softly tracing my collarbone.
"I'm definitely not complaining," I answered.
"I wish I had a place where we could stay all the time," Kurt added sadly.
"It's okay," I answered. "We'll figure it out. Um, I guess I also should tell you... I only have three months to relocate to Seattle for my new job."  Kurt shrugged.
"We're planning to go to Seattle with the band anyway." I supposed we'd figure things out as we went then. If this even lasted that long. I was nervous. I usually never got nervous starting a new relationship. But Kurt was different. I already thought I was falling in love with him. Of course it was way too soon to tell him that.
Kurt eventually climbed from bed and pulled on some clothes, immediately lighting a cigarette. I bummed one from him and followed suit.
"So, what should we do today?" Kurt asked.
"I have no idea," I answered. "I have nothing on my agenda all week."
"I only have band practices," Kurt added. "And you're invited to all of those."
"Looks like we're in for a pretty quiet week." Kurt grinned at me.
"I'm good with that."
"Me too."
