Arrived at Devaliant Caius watches as Kouichi sleeps. Kouichi starts to groan, clenching Caius' shirt. Caius: Shhh, it's okay. You'll feel better soon. He begins to rub Kouichi's back and hums a lullaby to help him sleep. Once Kouichi was peacefully sleeping he asked a servant to have the carriage be stopped and allow Materu on. (If you don't remember, Materu is a doctor.) Materu: Your highness? Oh- Caius: I think he just has a normal fever but can you check just to be sure? Materu: It's just a normal fever; he'll feel better after he rests a bit more. Caius: Thank you Materu: Anything for my favorite people
Arrived at the vacation home Caius: He's so cute when he's sleeping. Guard: Your highness we've arrived. Caius: Yes, thank you. Caius lifts Kouichi in his arms. He brings him inside to their bedroom and lays him on the bed. Caius: Oh dear, you're covered in sweat. When the guard brings in their luggage, he grabs Kouichi's night shorts and puts Kouichi in them. He then goes to the kitchen grabs a small towel and fills a bowl with cold water. He returns to the bedroom and dips the towel in the water. He then folds the towel and rubs it against Kouichi's face to calm the fever a bit. Kouichi: Mmmm... Caius? Caius: Oh, sorry, did I wake you? Kouichi: No, it's okay Kouichi grabs Caius' hand that was laying on the bed and drifts back to sleep. A few minutes later, when Kouichi's grip loosened, Caius went to go take a shower and changed into his night shorts. He then joins Kouichi in bed. Kouichi feels Caius' presence and snuggles into his chest. Caius raps his arms around Kouichi and kisses his head. Caius: Goodnight darling.
