The Invitation

The Next Morning
Kouichi blinks himself awake a little but neither Caius or Kiyomi are awake. He decides to lay his head back on Caius' bicep to make up for lost sleep, but is interrupted by a knock on the door. Kouichi puts on his robe and opens the door.
Kouichi: "Yes?"
Maid: "I was instructed to give you this letter from his Majesty."
Kouichi: "From King Erald?"
Maid: "That is correct, sir."
Kouichi: "I thought he was unconscious."
Maid: "He woke last night, sir. If I would be excused..."
Kouichi: "Oh, yes, thank you."
"Mmh"
Kouichi: "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you."
Caius: "No, it's fine. What's that?"
Kouichi: "It's from your dad."
Caius: "Father? He's regained consciousness?"
Kouichi: "Apparently he regained consciousness last night."
Caius: "What does the letter say?"

Kouichi: "We should go over to see him around 2pm. I want to get to know your father too."
Caius: "Alright then, let's get Kiyomi ready and head to breakfast."
