Kouichi's POV: Kouichi: "Mmm Good morning Caius..." Where is he? He shouldn't be at work, he took the whole day off. I guess he had other plans. I'll just wait until he comes back. 20 minutes later Ok he's still not back yet so I guess I gotta go look for him. Oh wait, gotta put some on first. After changing clothes The castle seems pretty empty. Where is everyone? Is there an event that nobody told me about? Oh there's a maid over there! Kouichi: "Um... Excuse Me!" That's odd. She just ignored me. Well I guess I can't make everyone happy. Melmy knows me pretty well so I guess I can ask her. After searching for about 10 minutes he found her. Kouichi: "Hey, Melmy? Do you know what's going on? Where is everyone?" Melmy: Sorry Mr. Kouichi I really gotta go. Kouichi: "Wait! But why?.." Why is everyone avoiding me? Is there something wrong with me? Tears began to drip from his eyes.
Caius' POV: Caius: "Ah, Melmy there you are. What's the situation with Kouichi?" Melmy: "Well he's awake now and he's looking around for you and everyone else. He may be getting suspicious so we should hurry." Caius: "Thank you. Okay everyone we need to have everything done in the next 15 to 20 minutes!" I hope he's okay. He's tends to be a bit emotional. Caius: "I'm going to see Kouichi! Everything should be done by the time I get back!" Castle Staff: "YES SIR!"
Third Person POV: Kouichi fell to his knees beginning to cry as Caius searched around the castle looking for him. After some time, Caius found Kouichi in a colosseum like room crying. He then quietly walked over to Kouichi and hugged him. The sudden touch made Kouichi jump. Even though he couldn't see his face, he could tell it was Caius and hugged back starting to cry even harder. Caius: "Honey? Why are you crying?" Kouichi: "I- I ngh I couldn't-" Caius: "It's okay, just calm down then tell me what happened." Kouichi: "I *sniffle* I couldn't find you so I went to ask somebody. But every person I asked kept avoiding me. *sniffle* Did I do something wrong? Am I ugly?" Caius: "What? Of course not, you're beautiful inside and out." Kouichi: "Then why is everyone avoiding me?" Caius: "I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. Let's clean your face and get you in a nicer outfit. It is your birthday after all." Kouichi looked up and Caius and smiled. Kouichi: "Okay." After washing up Kouichi looked and felt a lot better. Caius: "I thought I'd let you sleep in a bit more since it's your birthday. But it seems you slept through breakfast haha." Kouichi: "It appears so haha." Caius: "Well let's get you something to eat." Kouichi: "But this isn't the usual way we go to the great hall." Caius: "You'll see.." Kouichi looked a bit puzzled but continued to follow Caius anyway. After a few more minutes of walking they made it to the great hall, but it was a different door than they usually go through. Everyone: "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Kouichi stood there in shock for a moment and then turned to Caius. Kouichi: "Did you do all this?" Caius: "Happy Birthday Kouichi."
