"Are you sure you are okay?" Bilbo asked sitting down next to Thalia, her blue eyes staring at the fire that was before her; she was wrapped in Thorin's heavy coat in an attempt to warm her back up.

Thalia nodded her head as she offered the hobbit a small smile, he was slowly becoming a dear friend to her and she needed that right now.

"I'm fine thank you Bilbo," Thalia said ignoring the look that Thorin gave her, she knew he was worried but she couldn't tell anyone about the horrors that she had seen during that vision.

Thalia was still hoping that it was the forest's dark magic messing with her powers and that the vision itself wasn't going to come true.

Bilbo nodded his head as he messed with his dinner, he was curious about what had happened as was everyone else.

"So what happened?" Bilbo asked curiously, his blue eyes looking at the demigod as everyone fell silent and looked towards them; they all had the same question in their minds.

Thalia sighed as she closed her eyes, people were going to ask sooner or later but she knew that when she told them what had happened that it wasn't going to ease their minds.

"The magic on this forest is dark, it tried to turn my own powers against me," Thalia said carefully, she didn't want to tell anyone what she had seen since she didn't want to believe the vision itself.

Thorin watched her concerned, he could almost sense that there was something that she was hiding from them all.

Thorin moved to sit down beside Thalia, he wouldn't push her for answers but he did want them soon.

"Get some rest... we move early tomorrow," Thorin said softly looking around the camp fire knowing that he wasn't just talking to Thalia but to the rest of the company.

David smirked watching the camp settle down to sleep, his eyes locked on Thalia that lay beside the dwarf king knowing that this was going to be fun.

The demigod wondered if Thalia knew that the company had been traveling through the forest now for four days.

The forest was already tampering with the dwarves minds and they hadn't even realise that they had lost the path; though that had been David's part in messing with their mind.

As the son of Hermes, David specialised in using Hypnokinesis since his father was the Greek God of Thieves and he had been using it since Thalia had stepped into the forest.

David was waiting for the right time to strike so that the dwarves would not be able to stop him from stealing the blonde away; then he would have his fun with her.

David stared down on the camp as he waited until everyone had fallen asleep, he didn't want anyone getting in his way and he knew that the dwarves would protect Thalia fearlessly if he wasn't patient.

Thalia's sleeping form shifted soundlessly as the darkness closed in on the camp making everyone shiver at the cold that surrounded them.

Her blue eyes shifting in her sleep at the dark vision that plagued her mind, it wouldn't leave her alone even in rest.

Thalia gasped as she sat up, the vision haunting her as she brushed some hair from her face; her blue eyes searching the darkness even if she couldn't see anything.

The sound of popping made Thalia frown as she carefully pushed Thorin's coat away from her; she tried to look around as her hand sort out her own sword before something sharp was pressed against her throat.

David smirked pressing his dagger against Thalia's throat, his hand braced against her as he held her still knowing that he couldn't have asked for anything better.

Thalia went still in his arms as his cool breath fanned across the back of her neck, she paused in her search for her sword.

"I've been searching for you Thalia Hunter..." David whispered as he glared at the back of the blonde's head, he had been waiting for this moment since he had discovered that Poseidon had a daughter.

Thalia took a shaky breath as she noticed a stirring across from her, the camp fire had long since gone out and she knew that someone was waking up.

"Thalia?" Bofur murmured rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he stopped the blonde sitting up ridged by Thorin's side.

Bofur didn't know what it was but he could tell even in the darkness that there was something going on.

David gritted his teeth wrapping his free hand with her long blonde hair, pushing himself to his feet he ignored Thalia's yelp of pain as he hauled her up with him.

"We'll be going now," David said making sure to keep a tight hold of Thalia, he would finish his introduction later on; he didn't want to risk waking more dwarves and losing his hostage now.

The slow sound of a sword being drawn made Thalia's eyes snap to the side, she couldn't even see but she knew that the sound was Thorin.

"Let. Her. Go." Thorin said slowly and deliberately, his eyes fixed on the human that was pressing a dagger to Thalia's throat; his hand securely holding Orcrist as he glared at the man before him.

Thalia took a deep breath as she felt David secure his grip on her, she felt the air around her start to fill with energy.

"I don't think I will," David said smugly tightening his hold on Thalia, he knew that it was time to leave and none of the dwarves would be stopping him.

Thorin frowned at the man wondering what he thought that he was doing, didn't he know how much trouble he was in for threatening the king's betrothed.

However before Thorin could say anything else, David smirked at him as he tested the energy around him before he closed his eyes and focused.

"Thalia!" the company all cried out in horror as the blonde vanished into thin air with the mad man, they knew nothing about what had just happened and they certainly hadn't been expecting that to happen.

Thorin stared at the empty space before him as an all too familiar feeling crept up on him again, he hadn't felt like this since Thalia had fallen off that cliff only two weeks earlier.

Thalia yelped as she was rough fully thrown to the ground as they landed, the blonde quickly turned to glare at her abductor cursing herself for not getting her sword.

David chuckled as he walked slowly towards Thalia, it had all been too easy and he wasn't sure why it had taken him so long to get to her.

The daughter of death wasn't around anymore and the daughter of the sky had disappeared completely, they wouldn't be able to save the daughter of water now.

"Who are you?" Thalia spat resisting the urge to seem weak, she needed to stay strong and she knew that she would find her way back to the company and Thorin.

David slowly walked forward knowing that he was going to destroy Thalia's entire world before he finally ended her life.

There were things that Thalia had been kept in the dark about, especially by her beloved father and cousin; a secret that would rip her world apart.

"I am David Castellan, son of Hermes and bringer of death," David said darkly as he stared down at Thalia with a smile tugging on his lips, he was going to enjoy destroying her entire life.
