That night I went out to the bar and sure enough I saw Kaeya. I decide to use the other entrance to slip in. I'm on the second floor, which has plenty of people dancing where they find room. I sit at one of the tables, Kaeya probably won't leave soon. I'll wait until it's the last hour to get what I want if it comes to it. I look out to the sea of people, Rosaria being one of them. We haven't talked much, but Kaeya introduced us. He jokes she might be a vampire, but it's almost hard to believe it's a joke. With Rosaria around theres usually Kaeya, he might be at the bottom floor getting drinks. I slip out of the door and sit on the stairs. Maybe tonight just isn't the night. I wouldn't want Amber to worry.. but maybe one drink won't hurt. I slip back in, avoiding Kaeya, and order a fruity drink. Venti manages to find a seat next to me. "What brings you out tonight, (Y/N)?" I take a sip through the straw of my drink.

"Nothing much, I just like having a drink or two here." I lie, but Venti is too drunk to notice I'm sure. "Are you sure you have enough money to pay for your drinks tonight? Or were you planning for Kaeya or Rosaria to pay for you." I say with a chuckle.

"Well.." He starts laughing. "Yeah I was." He's got a goofy grin plastered on his face, a true drunkard. Drowning away any sorrows he can. I pity him. I take my card out of my bag.

"I'll tell you what, I'll let you have my card for the night if you sing me a song. Nothing sappy, just something. This music isn't my vibe tonight." He starts singing, so beautifully. All the alcohol that's slid down his throat has done nothing to affect his vocals. It's just as I remembered. I give him my card and order another drink. "Join my tab with Venti's." Venti slides over the card with ease. I finish up my drink and leave. The chilly night helps me cool down. The atmosphere in there can be so suffocating. Giving my card to Venti was reckless, but hearing him sing again.. I take in a deep breath closing my eyes. I sit down by the door closing my eyes. I just needed a moment to breathe. Whatever reason Amber went off with Jean and Diluc isn't my problem. However, it seems I'm a problem for Amber. I take a few more minutes of sitting there and the smell of rain invades my nostrils. I should head back. I look towards the parking lot, I shouldn't drive. I see a car pulling up, that's when I check the time. The car model seems so familiar, and with the timing, it has to be Diluc. He always comes for closing hour. It seems I dozed off instead of taking a few minutes. I head for the side walk and look at my car. It'd probably start raining if I walked back.. so get sick or drive tipsy. Or sleep in my car. Amber is probably back, I'll shoot her a text. I lean against my car and pull out my phone.

Won't be home tonight, I'm safe don't worry. I turn off my phone and as I'm about to get in my car I hear distant yelling. I look towards the bar and it's Diluc arguing with Venti. I shut the car door and head over. "Why do you have this!? I'll only ask you one more time, bard!" I see Diluc is holding up my card. I didn't think it'd be an issue. Considering it's Venti however... I sigh.

"I let him.. now let him pay his tab and go." Diluc turns to me, rage in his eyes and almost a hint of lament. It's not directed toward me however, whats got him so hot and bothered? I hear a ding from my phone.

"What.." He clears his throat and hands back the card to Charles, who seems uneasy. He hands me back my card with awkwardness. "How are you getting home tonight, bard?" Kaeya must still be upstairs, I can hear his laugh. It might be closing hour but Kaeya won't leave until he's kicked out. Venti leaves when he pleases, seems like he's leaving at a bad time however.

"I'll be taking him home." I'd rather not sleep in my car, and Venti's home is much closer. He could walk if he'd like, but he's too drunk to be trusted. I put my hand on Venti's shoulder. "Goodnight." I grab Venti and start pulling him out of the bar before Diluc can speak. I put my card in my bag and get in the car, Venti following suit. I look at my phone.
