-Weeks Later-

Jean's POV

As (Y/N) talks about Kaeya, her painting instructor that I don't know much about, Klee is running around. I'll have to put her in the time out corner if this continues. "So yeah.. I'm not sure what to do about that. I know if I told Diluc he'd just get angry with him, and would hold it against him. Maybe even make me quit." They sigh. "But besides me, how've you been doing? I heard business started flourishing. Ever since Diluc added your business on the menu that is." I'm glad I was able to find such kindness in a short span of time. However... my feelings for Diluc have started becoming more than just friendly, I'll avoid the topic of Diluc for now.

"It really has! Flora and Chloris love to talk to everyone who comes in. Klee.. she's uh been told to stay in the back if she causes any trouble. The people love her however. Did you maybe want to hang out soon?" I'm busy this week, I've managed to snag Diluc for a day, and just for the two of us. As long as Sunday works, if not I'll take Amber and I somewhere.

"Sure, I'll bring Amber along to. When are you free? I can't go Thursday or Sunday, but I'm free any other day." I sigh, nothing ever goes right. However, I've forgotten to mention I've reconnected with Amber recently.

"I was hoping you wouldn't say that.. those are the only days I'm free. I have other plans this Wednesday and then the other florist can't be there Thursday." I can hear them sigh, I wonder how (Y/N) would react to me spending a day with just Diluc. They don't seem like the type to get jealous.

"We can put it off for next week?" We say sure and hang up. Amber comes knocking not to long after. I invited her over for a while. I open the door and go get us some drinks. She sets her purse down, her things falling out and onto the couch. She doesn't pay much mind as they're all close to her. We start chattering and we get on the topic of Diluc, and about what we're doing Wednesday.

"So yeah, he agreed, we're going to be painting ceramics. Just me and Diluc. But he doesn't seem too excited about it, it was supposed to be so I could thank him." I sigh, feeling a little dejected.

"So you can't maybe put it off? It's most likely a bad time for him, he barely spends with (Y/N). Almost like he's cheating, maybe he feels bad about it. But if it's just your feelings for him saying these things, maybe it's best you don't go." She's probably right, I'm glad I called her over. I'd rather not cancel, he's already taken the day off. (Y/N) could just ask him to go out, seemed rather simple really.

"Alright, thanks for the advice Amber." Klee soon comes barging in.

"It's auntie Amber!" She giggles, making grabby hands. She wants to be held.

"Klee, you're too old for that now." Amber smiles and gets up.

"I don't mind." She picks Klee up and spins her around. Once she puts her down she finally notices her phone is out. She puts it away and we head over to the kitchen. "What do you want your aunties to make?" Amber babies Klee a little too much for my liking.

Diluc's POV
As I'm doing a bit of paperwork I can hear the outside get quiet. That's never good, the music was the only thing audible for a moment. Then yelling, followed by oohs. There's a fight. With a groan I get up and decide to handle it myself. Rolling my eyes I make my way through the crowd, just two drunk guys. Whispering arises as people see it's me. "If the two of you don't quit it, I'll throw you both outside. Charles!" I look back to him, the crowd following my gaze. "Close their tabs!" I yell over the loud music, which he thankfully hears. One of them start coming up to me, spitting all over while yelling incoherent words. "You have 3 seconds before it's lights out for you." He keeps on babbling. "3..2..1!" Throwing a punch, he's down. I look up and glare at the other guy. "Scram! I'm losing important time on the two of you." He does as I say and leaves, mumbling profanities. The others disperse and go back to their usual partying. "Charles," I head back over to the bar counter, "see to it that this guy is thrown out. I still have a lot of paperwork to do. I'll be heading out before closing however." He nods and I head back to my office.
