Chapter Six | Stories
The truth is that in this world, everyone has his or her own story.
That taxi driver who's taxi you sat in has his own story. That man you bumped into the other day who seemed in hurry has his own story. The neighbor who recently got divorced has his own story.
Everyone does.
Some are stories that haunt us forever. Some that leave a scar on us but then there are some that help us to move on and become who we really are supposed to be.
These were the thoughts of Abbie. And since they were friends now she was more than curious to know his story. She wanted to know who was he? What was his story.
She didn't know, but she did plan to find out indeed.
Sitting there next to him under the normal place of theirs, millions of thoughts were going in her head.
Should I ask? Should I not? Where does he come from? What is his story? Is it a good one? Or is it a bad one? Is he as broke and hurt as I am? Or is he not? Is he okay? will he be okay later in the future?
She waited for a minutes gathering the courage inside her, as times passed by she grew more and more confident and before she could stop, the worlds left her mouth.
"What's your story, Aaron?"
"My story?"
"Yeah your story. Everyone has a story right?"
And he just smiled.
