Chapter Ten | Beginning
A week passed since then. She always found him deep in thoughts lately but hse never asked what he was thinking about.
There were not really any secrets between them anymore, or that's just what they thought.
However, wherever they were going with this they were okay with it. Though they themselves didn't know where they were going.
"I Want you to come to my restaurant" He said.
"Your restaurant?" She asked.
"Yeah" He scratched the back of his neck "It's like the place where i've been spending time lately. It's my aunts basically'
"Sure, why not?" She smiled at the invitation and he smiled because he actually agreed when he thought she wouldn't.
"When?" She asked.
"Now?"
"Okay"
They both made their way to their as they laughed together cracking up stupid jokes.
"Knock Knock" Aaron smirked.
"Who's there" She played along.
"Anee"
"Anee who?"
"Anee one you like" He said as they both started laughing hard.
They continued cracking jokes one after another and before they knew they were standing out side the restaurant.
"Are you sure you want to go in Abbie? If no it's okay I'll-" He started.
"Yes Aaron, I'm sure." She interrupted.
"Okay then" He said as they entered.
As soon as they entered they were greeted by warm air and cozy smell of coffee. Abbie felt amazing as soon as she entered.
The place was not really crowded but you could see a few people eating or having coffee.
"It's mostly crowded at nights" Aaron explained.
Before she could reply they were greeted by a good looking women who seemed to be in about her thirties.
"Aaron, my darling" She kissed his cheek as he smiled in politeness.
"You have no idea how much I missed you, you're finally here and-" It was clear she was surprised he was here after all this time and she was even more surprised to see Abbie standing with her.
"And who's this young gorgeous lady with you" She smiled towards her.
"Abbie" She introduced herself.
She wondered where her shy side was going to be honest.
"Hello Abbie. I'm Aaron's aunt" She hugged her.
It was clear she was friendly now.
"Why don't you guys get a table and I'll get you the special coffee of here?" She said as she rushed away without even waiting for reply.
They both sat at the table looking at each other and smiling.
"Oh wait. I have an idea" Abbie quickly said.
"What?" Aaron asked.
"Do you think I can get to work here?" She said, impatient for reply.
"Well Aunt was saying she needs more people?" He shrugged.
"Yes" She cheered, her eyes glowing as if she just found a treasure.
She did indeed, find her new beginning that day.
