Nash's POV
I was still wondering who the two children were. They both seemed comfortable in the house and around Jack so I don't think she was just baby sitting them.
We all sat down around the table and she brought over the food. I kept catching myself staring at her not because of how attractive she was because let's be honest she is very attractive but because she is so grown up now and she has just changed so much. I just can't believe its actually her there in front of me.
"so how long have you lived here?" I ask trying to figure a bit more out about this whole situation
"since April" she replied, it was now the end of June.
"you always said you would live here when you are older, i'm glad you are living your dream" I was being genuine
"i'm not living my dream, i'm here and i'm going to my dream university but i'm not living my dream" she says as her eyes go glossy
"You go to UCLA?" I never knew she was intelligent.
"She has to go to school tomorrow and we don't" Josh I think the boy is called says happily
"Pipe down mister and finish your food" she says to which he doesn't argue.
once we were all done the two children went to get the ice cream thingy they made and Ava took our dished to the sink.
"are they her children?" I ask Jack making sure to speak in a hushed tone.
"Lisa is just Josh's best friend but its not really my place to tell you anymore" he replied
we spent the next 20 minutes eating our way through a mountain made of cream, ice cream and sauce.
"Can we show Nash around? please?" the two four year olds begged.
"alright but then you need to have a bath" she said again clearing the bowls away. I would help but each time I offered she would tell me to 'stay put'.
"YAY" they cheered and came running to either side of me.

I had no idea so many different rooms could be in one house. There was a playroom, a movie room, a sound proof studio type room, the kitchen and dining room, a sauna room, an office, a gym, the pool and Jacuzzi were outside along with a large barbecue area, there was a living room but the kids called it 'the posh room', the basement had been converted into several different rooms, one was made into another bedroom making that a total of 8 bedrooms, another had white walls but a small patch of one of the walls had the start of a painting on it and they said this was the craft room where they could do anything to the walls but only Ava had been in there. The last room was locked and they didn't know what was in there but they thought it had something to do with Ava's work because she was the only person that knew what was in there.
I noticed that Josh called her Ava yet he treated her like a mum and she treated him like her son.
"Josh is Ava your mummy?" I had to ask it was bugging me
"No my mummy and daddy are watching us from the clouds. I can show you our family if you want, I drew it in school today" I could tell he really wanted to show me it so I let him drag me to his room along with Lisa.
"this is me and that is Ava my big sister" of course why didn't I realize before.
"here is Mummy and Daddy and Grandpa on the clouds because they are watching us from up there" Oh no that is horrible
"oh this is pickles by the way" he said pointing at the dog "I will show you him when we go back down"
"this is England and that is Ali one of my other sisters and her family with Grandma too" It didn't seem fair that an 18 year old should have to bring up her younger brother when there were other people that could do it.
