Roseanna's POV
Ava wanted me to tell her about my date last night with Nash so we both sat down and I started to explain.
Flashback
I walked out of the door to where he was waiting "you look gorgeous" he said causing me to blush
"You don't look so bad yourself" I reply before we hug and he kisses my cheek.
"Your chariot awaits madam" he says in a funny accent while opening the car door for me
"Why thank you sir" I take a seat and he closes the door then runs around the car and gets in himself.
"so where are we going?" I ask excited
"that's a surprise my love" he gives me a cheeky grin and places his hand on my thigh, god if only he knew what that does to me.
After around 20 minutes of driving he stopped the car and ran around to open my door.
"Right this way my lady" he said taking my hand and leading me down a small trail. we were at the beach I could tell because of the smell in the air and the way the breeze felt as it carefully glided across my bare arms.
soon we arrived at the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.
"Nash this is amazing" I say turning to face him
"do you like it?" he asked nervously
"I love it" i tell him as a smile spreads across his face.
he had strung fairy lights in between a few palm trees and a blanket was laid out in the middle off the lit up area. There was also some food set out on the blankets, it was pizza and chocolate coated strawberries. It was absolutely perfect.
we spent awhile just eating and talking.
"you know that day you rang Ava and told her you were coming out here?" he asked
"yeah"
"I came to her house everyday I could and if i couldn't for whatever reason then i would ring or text her to find out if you were on your way yet. It's kind of embarrassing to think about it now but I was so excited to see you again and I remember the first time I saw Ava again and I was glad to see her obviously she used to be like a sister to me but all i could think was if she is here you had to be too because it was your dream. Rava let loose in LA. it hurt so much when she said you weren't with her and that you guys weren't friends because of this harry guy. it hurt to know you moved on when I couldn't."
"I'm sorry Nash but it had been so long, so much had happened and I knew how big you had gotten. I went to the cinema and you were a main character in one of the most popular movies. I didn't think you would remember me so I thought moving on was for the best." i try explain but i know how hurt i would be if it was the other way around. sure we never officially dated but he was my first love and nothing will change that.
"I missed you like crazy" he tells me moving a piece of hair out of my face
"I missed you too" I say as we both slowly move closer. Our lips gently brushed against each other before finally we kissed. It wasn't hungry or hard it was a soft and passionate kiss and it didn't last very long but that was okay.
We slowly opened our eyes and looked at each other before both smiling like idiots. For the first time in a long time I was completely happy. I had Ava back, I had Nash back and I am living my dream.
End of flashback
The only bad thing about everything being perfect right now is sooner or later something is going to happen which will ruin all of my happiness but I can't let that stop me right now.
"You two are adorable" Ava says smiling I'm glad she is happy for me
"Don't you have to get to classes?" I feel like she hasn't been going to the a lot lately
"No I do have a photoshoot though oh um could you watch Josh for me?" She asks in a panic
"Of course I can"
"Thanks" she calls out as she runs up the stairs and two minutes later she runs back down them now wearing shorts and a sunflower crop top. I hear the engine of her car start so I turn my attention back to Josh who had now finished eating.
"What do you want to do today?" I ask him
"Can we go to the shops? I want a pizza for the pool" what is this kid on about
"A pizza for the pool?"
"Come see" he says getting our of his chair and grabbing my hand he is the cutest little four year old I know
He takes me into the office and shows me a catalogue that was on the end of the desk. He had obviously been showing Ava it while she was working or something.
"This one" he says pointing to it now it makes sense its like a giant inflatable thingy in the shape of a pizza slice
"Sure let's go get you dressed then we can go" I tell him leading him up the stairs
30 minutes later we found ourselves walking around the shopping center or mall as they call it over here. If I'm honest I wasn't really sure where we could find one but then Josh found a place with loads if inflatable stuff in the window so we went to look in there.
We found the pizza slice and I also got a big white swan.
"Let's head back now and blow these up" I say to the little boy and he beams with excitement, he reminds me of a mini Ava.
"Do you like living out here?" I ask actually curious because it was a big change for such a small boy.
"yep its so sunnay" he is adorable
"What about school? Have you made any friends?"
"Well I have a few but Lisa is my best friend. Can we invite Lisa round?" His eyes light up at the mention of her name, they will date when they get older I can just see it happening.
"Maybe we should wait for Ava to get back then we will see okay?" He just nods and takes my hand as we walk across the car park.
