*New York*
Olivia and Ana were walking down a street with Noah in between them, making idle chatter.
"So are you ready to teach us some of those dance moves?" The shorter woman inquired.
"Yes." The boy nodded, swinging their interlocked hands back and forth. "Can we get ice cream? We're right by the cart." He pointed out as they rounded a corner.
"Before dinner?" Olivia chuckled, stopping to face her son.
"I won't have dessert after." Noah compromised.
Ana laughed and they went to move towards the cart.
"Olivia! Ana!" A familiar voice called from behind them.
The two sisters turned and did a double take, the elder even took off her sunglasses, as they saw their half brother standing there.
"Simon." Olivia greeted in shock.
"Been a while." Ana breathed, not knowing what else to say.
The man made his way over, grinning widely, and suddenly took notice of the young boy in between them.
"Hello, I'm Simon." He smiled, glancing at the women in confusion.
"Hi, I'm Noah." The boy squeaked out.
"Yeah, go ahead." Olivia nodded. "Go pick a flavor, run along."
He happily sprinted over to the cart and Simon chuckled, taking a few steps forward.
"Who's Noah?" He wondered.
"Uh, Noah is my son." The older woman replied with a small smile.
"I have a nephew and you didn't tell me?" Simon asked in disbelief and glanced at the floor. "Well, that's on me. I haven't exactly been in touch."
"Simon, what are you doing here?" Ana inquired.
"I moved back to Jersey a few years ago, working at the Carpet King." He explained.
"How is your family? Your- your children?" Olivia wondered.
"I don't know. Tracy took the kids, so I haven't seen her or them since I last saw you two." Simon admitted, grin fading a bit.
"I'm sorry." Ana murmured.
"I thought about asking you to help me track them down but I always end up making more trouble for you guys." He sighed. "Look, I just- I just want to make it up to you. Maybe I can I can take you and Noah out to lunch?"
The two sisters exhanged a quick glance.
"Simon, I don't think that's such a good-"
"Just don't don't say no." He pleaded, interrupting Olivia before she could finish her sentence and stopping both women when they tried to move forwards. "All right, look, I've been clean five years. Look at this. All right? You're my only family. I wanna get to know my nephew." Simon reasoned and both women let out a breath of air. "Come on. Wednesday, lunch. It's my day off. You pick the place, the time. I can be anywhere."
Olivia and Ana gazed over at Noah before sharing a look. After a few seconds, they both conceded with a nod.
