*House in Englewood*

Hank and Ana were standing in the back room, right in front of the body of a young man. He was bound to a chair and it looked like the poor guy had been brutally totured to death.

The older man stared down at the corpse, face showing no emotion. The brunette swallowed and looked away just as Adam walked over with Hailey and Jay right behind him.

"All right, Crawford wants all hands on deck." Hank informed. "Obviously, whoever did this was looking for answers."

"Bluejay, help Kevin and Rojas work the block." Ana ordered. "You and Hailey hit the streets. Maybe find security video while you're out there."

"Adam, find out who this Jose is. All right, let's try and figure out why someone would do this to a kid like that." The older man added before turning to the Medical Examiner on scene. "All right, it's all yours."

Everyone split off to carry out their orders while the two Sergeants continued to scour the scene for anything useful. However, the brunette glanced back at Jay one last time and frowned as a wave of dread crashed over her.

*A Little While Later*

Hank and Ana entered a Hallway just in time to see Jay walking away from his partner.

"Hey, guys, no luck on the videos." Hailey shook her head as she took a few steps towards them.

The older man grunted in response.

"Where is Bluejay running off to?" The brunette inquired.

"Uh, he's just gotta take care of something. It's personal." The blonde explained, hesistantly, almost as if she was trying to hide something from them.

"Something you wanna tell us?" Hank prodded.

"Jay's going through a few things. Um, he's working it out." Hailey assured, balantly avoiding his question.

"Something you don't wanna tell us?" Ana smiled in understanding.

"Yeah, but it's not my place, so. . ." The Detective trailed off.

"Hailey, we respect what you're trying to do here, but if there's something we need to know. . ." Hank pushed.

"There isn't." Hailey promised. "Not yet anyway."

The two Sergeants glanced at each other.

"Okay, we'll take you at your word." Ana nodded and they proceeded to head back the way they came, this time with Hailey following their every step.

*District 21: Bullpen*

Hank and Ana were over by the brunette's desk, flipping through a few files, when Trudy suddenly rushed in with a slightly concerned expression.

"Hey, is Halstead on a UC run?" She inquired.

"Not that I know about." The older man shrugged, looking down at his wife.

Ana just shook her head.

"State's Attorney is all over me." Trudy explained. "He's supposed to be in court right now."

"Hailey, do you know anything?" The brunette inquired as the blonde appeared on the Desk Sergeant's right.

"No, I called him a few times, but-"

"I did too." Trudy interrupted. "No answer. So I ran the GPS on his truck. It's parked on a street in Englewood."

"How long has it been there?" Hank wondered and Ana could physically see him filling with worry despite his expression remaining in its usual stony gaze.
