I WAS STUNNED WHEN I SAW Axi's Club. It was massive. Ren and I walked in together, his hand tightly wrapped around mine.

When we reached the VIP room, we immediately started picking songs to sing. It was a good thing his cousins hadn't arrived yet because it gave us time alone.

We danced and sang together, like a pair of carefree teenagers. Happy teenagers. As we moved to the music, I found myself staring at his face, wanting to memorize every angle of it, every trace of happiness written across his features.

I held back my tears, overwhelmed by how happy I felt. I loved Ren. I loved him so much. I would never regret this.

Thank you, Ren...

I went downstairs because Ari and Kyler were waiting for me. A wide smile spread across my face when I saw them drinking. They didn't say a word and immediately handed me a glass.

After a while, the music stopped and everyone turned toward the entrance. The DJ made an announcement, pointing to Imil, the owner of the club, and the crowd erupted in cheers.

I smiled as I looked at them. Their family was so big, the complete opposite of mine. I gulped when I saw Elimae. She was beautiful. No wonder Ren had fallen so hard for her.

"Don't stare too much at the VIP room door," Ari said when we saw Elimae enter first while her family and friends stayed outside, greeting people.

"Yeah," I nodded and turned away. I tried to smile. "I'm ready to move on," I said with a small laugh, even as my chest tightened. "I'm so happy for him..." A tear slipped down my cheek, but I wiped it away quickly. "As long as he's happy..." I looked at my cousins. "I'm letting him go."

"Doesn't it hurt?" Ari asked with concern.

I smiled genuinely even as tears streamed down my face. "It hurts so much... but I'm happy. He's the reason I'm starting to become a better person. I appreciate him and our time together. I... couldn't ask for more. I'll be forever grateful to the universe."

"How can you do that?" Kyler asked. "How can you let him go and still be happy for him?"

I looked at him. I tried to smile, but instead I broke down. "I... I don't know."

"Isn't that how you were with Azazel too?" Ari asked Kyler as he gently rubbed my back.

Kyler gulped. "I guess we don't have a choice."

"You do have a choice," Ari said meaningfully.

When I calmed down, I excused myself and said I'd go to the restroom. My head was spinning. Ari offered to come with me, but I stopped him. I could still walk.

"You look awful," a woman with jet-black hair said.

I smiled. "And you're pretty."

"Come here. Let me fix your makeup."

I closed my eyes as she fixed me up.

"Are you crying because of a guy?" she asked.

"Yep."

She sighed. "Silly girl."

I chuckled. "Haven't you cried over a guy?"

"I have. Two, actually, just this month."

"T-Two?" I frowned.

"My ex-fiancé and my first love. It's complicated." There was strain in her voice. "They both like the same girl."

"Lucky girl."

"And silly me," she chuckled. She fixed my hair too and even helped me steady myself.

"Thank you," I whispered. When she left, I looked at myself in the mirror. She was so kind.
