"Kylie, wake up! Wake up!" I heard Katie. She was shaking me violently which totally irritated me at times. I groaned, rubbing my eyes. "What is it Kate?" I asked sleepily. She huffed. "School! Duh!" She said in a obvious tone. Crap. I rolled out of bed and stretched. "Where's Zeke and Sean?" I asked. She playfully rolled her eyes. "Still asleep." She told me. Typical. I wrapped my hair in a messy bun and slipped on my blue house shoes. "Alright, go wake them up and get dressed." I told her. She sighed. "Remember the last time I woke them up?" She asked. My brain clicked of the horrific memory. We almost got in trouble with the headmistress Ms. Holly of the new orphanage. I mentally groaned. "Ok. I'll wake them up." I said. Katie nodded, skipping out of my room. I run-walked my way to the boys's bedroom next door. Zeke and Sean were asleep in their bunk bed. The curtains weren't opened, covering the sunlight. I smirked deviously and opened them instantly. They immediately woke up, groaning sleepily. "Wake up! School time!" I said a bit loud. Sean covered his face with a pillow. "Five more minutes Kylie." He mumbled groggily. Zeke covered his body and face with his blankets. "I don't wanna go." He whined. I crossed my arms and smiled. "Cmon guys, you'll be fine. Maybe after school I'll ask Ms. Holly if we could stop for pizza." I said. They rolled out of bed while dropping one pillow. "Pizza?!" They said, smiling. I laughed and nodded. Sean shrugged. "Eh. The only class I love is PE." He said. Zeke chuckled. "Me too." He agreed. We went to the separate bathrooms. One for girls and one for boys. Katie was already there. It was 7:30am. School didn't start until 8:30 which gave us the advantage. I did my morning routine and showered. Katie showered last night. Ms. Holly always make sure the boys shower because you know? Boys. I combed my hair and wrapped Katie's in a nice ponytail. We raided our closet we shared and got dressed into these;

Kylie

We packed our backpacks with school utensils and left the room. The boys came out of theirs, dressed and wore their backpacks. "Ready?" I asked. They smiled including Katie. "Yeah!" They said in unison. We walked out to the lobby where any people would come for adopting a kid. It rather gives a homely vibe. Other kids around my age or theirs were talking and laughing. Ms. Holly's desk sat in the center of the room. I smiled sweetly. "Good morning Ms. Holly." I said. She returned the gesture. "Morning children." She said. Katie waved as Sean and Zeke went to chat with other boys. Katie only had friends from school except here. The girls her age thought she was really weird, predicting Michael turned into a robot and saved our lives. It is obviously true!! I sighed sadly, sitting on the floor and Katie beside me. It's been a long time yet I still missed him so much. She pulled out the golden-plastic star. The same one Zeke had. My eyes widened. She smiled sadly. "I found it somewhere on the street after Michael left." She told me. Wherever he is, I hope he's alright. I smirked. "One lucky star." I muttered. Katie nodded in agreement. "Who knows? What if he comes after school? I'll keep wishing until it happens!" She said. I almost spoke until two school buses arrived. One for high schoolers, one for middle-schoolers. The kids stopped chattering and gathered their backpacks. Ms. Holly got off her chair. "Alright children, high school kids go first!" She announced. Me and Sean said goodbye to Zeke and Katie before walking out with other teenagers. We got inside the bus, grabbing a seat next to each other. Katie smiled and waved. I returned the gesture. The buses began driving off to our school. Thoughts about what she said couldn't stop repeating from my head. Will Michael return?

After finishing two periods, I walked back to my locker and exchanged my notebooks for History utensils. Three lockers away from me is a group of girls chattering. Two of them wore t-shirts of Michael. A short but sweet memory unlocked from my brain. 'Cmon Michael, these shirts are cool!' 'You are literally my biggest fan Kylie.' replayed in my mind. He once took us to the shopping mall where I seen a couple MJ shirts hanged up. If only I'd worn it today but it only brings back unforgettable memories with Michael. Our real home is very much with him. Tears were threatening to escape but I held them in. "Kylie!" A cheery voice called. My best friend Amelia surprised me from behind. In the old orphanage, I didn't had many friends because most of them were little. Amelia is the only girl I've known outside of the orphanage and knows I'm an orphan. She frowned. "Are you ok?" She asked. I scoffed and nodded. "Duh. I'm alright." I lied. Amelia playfully rolled her eyes. "Ky, I'm not stupid. We both seen the girls with MJ shirts." She said. I mentally groaned. She knows me too well and it's a little insane. I sighed sadly. "I'm sorry. Guess the memories are too good." I muttered. She patted my shoulder. "Maybe Katie's right. I'm sure he didn't forgotten about you guys." She told me. I inhaled a deep breath and crossed my arms. "Why shouldn't he? He's a international popstar! He's got too many things to think about instead of four kids!" I snapped. Her eyes widened. I'm really a mess this morning. I rubbed my hair and sighed. "I'm sorry Amels. It's just been hard." I said. She nodded, hugging me. I hugged back. We parted. The bell ringed throughout the school. I closed my locker and carried my stuff to History period with Amelia.

During lunchtime, we sat on our usual table with these four other girls. One of them wore headphones listening to music on her phone. The one with darkened hair and tall statue smiled kindly at me. "You know? We haven't been properly introduced sitting on the same table." She said. The other girl sitting across chuckled. "Really we haven't." She joked. Half of the girls giggled except the headphone one. We smiled. "I'm Kylie." I said. "Amelia." She quickly said. She returned the gesture. "I'm Bianca. This is Jaycee and Rose." She told me. The headphone girl hadn't looked up from her phone. She was humming and nodding to a somewhat beat. Bianca rolled her eyes and tapped her shoulder. "Ava!" She called. She slightly jumped, taking one headphone off. "Yeah?" She said. I was more interested in what music she was listening to. Amelia giggled. "We weren't introduced. I'm Amelia and this is Kylie." She told her. I raised an eyebrow. "What song you're listening to?" I asked. She sighed happily. "This song from Michael's Bad album!" She said. My favorite song from the album is Smooth Criminal. Since he left, I haven't been listening to his music for a while. I smiled warmly. "Which song?" I asked. Jaycee laughed. "I love Dirty Diana!" She squealed. Rose scoffed, smirking. "I like Smooth Criminal." She added. I nodded in agreement. "Same here." I said. Amelia smirked and ate a candy yam. "Kylie knows a few of his moves." She said. My eyes widened. Damn it Amelia! I mentally face-palmed my forehead. "No I don't! Not me! No!" I panicked. Their jaws dropped, smiling. "You do? You really do?" Bianca asked. Jaycee dropped her fork and cheered. "This I gotta see! Cmon Kylie, show us!" She said. All of them chatted in agreement and begging me to do it in unison. Well, it wouldn't hurt. I took a deep breath, getting off the table. Their eyes were glued to me as I took six steps back and moonwalked swiftly across the floor. Their jaws dropped shockingly. A few kids watched for a moment. Everyone applauded when I finished. Bianca smiled widely. "That was incredible!" She said. "Smooth!" Ava said. "Real good!" Rose said. "You do it good like him!" Jaycee added. She was clearly right. Michael used to teach me, Sean, Zeke and Katie how to moonwalk in his living room. All the laughs whenever some of us get it wrong or us bumping into some furniture. I smiled and sat back down to finish lunching. Maybe I would have more friends outside the orphanage.
