Chapter 13: The Meeting

(Time skip, now we are at the day of the town meeting)

It was about mid morning, the people gathered around the wooden platform that had been assembled before the meeting, the cool morning wind blew through the trees and caused spring flowers to fall from them, Wilbur took a breath in he could smell the flowers that were blooming the kingdom was always so pretty during the spring, would it ever be the same, Wilbur thought as he walked alongside his family as they walked down to the town square

Philza told Tommy about the war that was about to take place, he was ready, he wanted to fight Phil refused to let him, even with Techno training him there was no way Philza would ever let his youngest son fight in this war at least, and nonetheless he was too young.

But Tommy still went to the town square with his family, Phil, Kristin, Techno, and Wilbur all went they stood in the middle of the town, this was the first time Techno had been outside the castle walls since he came back, when he came in he made sure no one ever saw him

Techno heard the whispers about him, is that the prince that left? What is he doing here? Technoblade? The long lost son has returned, some were happy to see the prince, others were angry that he just appeared after being gone for so long like Wilbur

Techno looked around at the people standing around them some gave him evil glares but others were kind, Phil stood up on the wooden platform that had been set up before the meeting

"My people you know why I have called you here" the king said boldly, "all of you are of the age to fight for your kingdom, we have been pulled into a war that we cannot ignore, we have had many years off, we have prospered and now I must call you to fight for your kingdom" Phil paused for a moment looking at the innocent faces in front of them knowing that many of them would die, then looked at his sons who were standing in front of the platform, his wife was behind him, her magnificent black dress blew in the cool morning breeze, Tommy was standing next to her his blonde hair moving across his face with the help of the wind.

"I know some of you aren't trained to fight" Phil looked at the crowd of people than looked at his two sons, "I would like to introduce you to your new generals they will be the ones to teach you" Phil said gesturing both of his sons up onto the platform, Wilbur and Techno walked up to the platform next to their father, Phil heard the gasps that came from the people when they saw Techno, but chose to ignore them because it didn't matter what they thought

"My people you know my sons Wilbur and Technoblade they are your new generals they will lead you in battle, as will I" Phil said looking at his two stoic sons who stood at his side, "and we will win" Phil said proudly, cheers erupted from the crowd, "Now, Technoblade will be your hand to hand combat teacher, and Wilbur will teach the ranged weapons, listen and you will learn" Phil said looking proudly at his two sons, Techno on his right side and Wilbur on his left

Techno spoke up and said "Lessons start at dawn tomorrow be here" He said with authority, Wilbur nodded his head in agreement

"Thank you, that is all you are dismissed" Phil said as he walked over to his wife and other son, his others sons following behind him

"Techno does that mean you won't be training me" Tommy said sadly

"Well maybe unless you want to get up even earlier to train" Techno replied

"Good luck getting him to do that" Wilbur laughed he hadn't laughed at all since Techno had been home, why did I do that?
