Chapter 21: The Aftermath

Tommy is out of the medward now it had been about two months his mother had been buried so had all the soldiers that had died in the battle.

the kingdom was in mourning of all they'd lost, his arm healed up and the soreness went away, he was angry with Techno and Phil they'd been keeping so much from him

Tommy was sitting in his room on his bed just thinking, then he got bored and was walking through the castle he walked down the red carpet

he walked past his fathers study there weren't any guards stationed which was kind of unusual but then he heard Techno talking and it made sense why there were no guards "Well do we know where he is?" He heard Techno say, his voice piqued Tommy's interest, he walked curiously up to the wooden door and put his ear to it, "We know about where he is not a certain point" Tommy heard Ranboo say it was muffled but he could hear it, "Well then let's go get the green bastard" Tommy heard Wilbur say angrily, he'd never heard Wilbur that angry before usually he was a pretty calm person what are they planning? Tommy thought

"It's not that easy Wil" Tommy heard his father say and rolled his eyes, "Why not he's done so much and he isn't going to get away without punishment" Wilbur said angrily and somewhat sorrowfully, "No Wilbur he isn't going to get off without punishment, but it's kind of hard to punish the god of Life" Tommy heard his father say muffled he was talking quieter somberly, he heard silence from the room for a moment, "Well how do we get him then?" Wilbur asked now sounded less angry and more solemn, "Tomorrow we talk to Sapnap we'll see if we can get any answers out of him" Ranboo replied

"We have to be smart, tactful that's how we'll get him, we have to use his own methods against him" Techno said monotonously like normal, Tommy heard more talking but it was to muffled and quiet to hear, Tommy groaned in annoyance than quickly covered his mouth hoping that they didn't hear him, Tommy heard soft footstep coming towards the door, he tried to run before the steps got closer but it was to late, he felt a hand on his back as he tried to walk away

"You aren't avoiding me this time" Tommy heard Techno say as he felt his brothers hand around his wrist, "Techno let me go I'm not a child!" Tommy yelled as he tried to get Techno to let go, "Well I'm treating you like one cause you've been acting like one" Techno said as he pulled his little brother into his fathers study and closed the door behind him, Tommy tried to get out but Techno stood in front of the door, even though Tommy was slightly taller than Techno, Techno was still very intimidating and there was no way that Tommy would be able to move his pink haired big brother

"Little gremlin was listening outside the door" Techno said to the group that were standing over a table that had maps strewn all over it, what do you have bat ears or something Techno? Tommy thought annoyed as he looked at the group that was looking at him, "Why were you talking about Dream?" Tommy asked annoyed

the three that were standing around the table looked at each other in way that seemed to be asking for permission, Wilbur spoke up and said, "Tommy we are going to find Dream and make him pay for what he's done" Wilbur said with a vengeful look on his face, "Wilbur.." Phil said gently as if to calm him, Wilbur just huffed, got angry and walked out of the room past Techno his brown jacket swishing behind him, "What's up with him?" Tommy asked as he watched Wilbur leave the room, "Mother's— death is still hitting him hard" Techno said solemnly as he stood back in front of the door

"Kind of like you Tommy" Phil said as he looked at his youngest son

Tommy just stood there not saying anything, "Am I wrong?" Phil asked knowing he wasn't, "-no" Tommy mumbled sadly looking at the floor

"But that's not the only thing that's bothering you is it" Phil asked again looking at his son, Tommy didn't answer he just looked at the floor, Phil looked at Ranboo and nodded, the enderman nodded back and left the room
