7: Uneasiness

Her eyes narrowed and her face morphed into a frown reading the text again and again sent by Taehyung's friend Seong Je, wondering what got into his mind for him to message her in such a weird manner.

Saya

Thank you for inviting me to the dinner. I hope it won't be a trouble for you

She had texted him after receiving an invitation for dinner from him. She had never visited his place alone therefore she wanted to make sure it wouldn't put him in trouble. After all, she was no longer Taehyung's girlfriend.

Seong Je

I don't mind you putting me into trouble. Your soul already has made enough disturbance into my soul and I enjoy it. The system here has taught me well how to get love from trouble and I always like to invite it.

Uneasiness bubbled into her stomach because she didn't find his message appropriate however being a person who could barely bring herself to speak, out of fear of offending people she choose to ignore his remarks.

"Maybe he is just teasing" she convinced herself and simply responded with HAHA.

Seong Je was more like a bigger brother to Taehyung and from the very beginning of their relationship, she hung out with him even though they never connected on a personal level. First of all, he was reserved in nature and preferred listening over expressing so everything she learned about him was through Taehyung's mouth. Taehyung trusted him with his life, and so he had Saya's respect. Therefore even though his sudden interest in her daily life right after her breakup was making her weary, she decided to overlook his odd behavior. 

However, as the day went by his message started getting more absurd and confusing leaving her very uncomfortable. She no longer wanted to visit the guy so making up some random excuses she informed him about her unavailability.

Seong Je

Your soul already told my soul about it. But I hope a day will come when our souls can interact. Also, you have the full right to access what you want to do at my place after dinner.

After that, she deliberately stopped responding to the guy and she avoided any kind of interaction by not going to Taehyung's place whenever he was over. Instead of confronting him, she began to run away from the problem because she had already guessed the reason behind the shift in his demeanor however her heart kept reminding her it couldn't be the case and she had simply misunderstood the guy.

"WTF does that even mean" She gasped reading his recent text laying on the bed of her room. Reading the words he had written again and again she tried to make sense of it however she couldn't determine what he wanted to convey nor could she understand the underlying meaning of the entire situation. So without much delay, she responded to him to clear out her bafflement.
