Feeling safe with you

Chapter 2

"Okay stay safe girls. And stay on the jet until we enter the building" Steve said before jumping out of the jet.

"Take care of lena please" nat asked me before jumping too.

"Okay come on" I said to Yelena and we get on the front of the jet to pilot.

"Do you know how to pilot?" I asked her "yeah I do"

"Do you want to?"I said pointing to my seat "uh yes" she sits and I sit beside her on the copilot.

"So... what are your abilities? I mean why are you on the avengers"

"Well first, I'm smart." I joke making her chuckle "no I have powers. I can fly  I can control the fire, water, the wind and ice"

"Wow that's cool" she said shocked "yeah sometimes. Sometimes not"

"Why?" "Because... it's hard for people to understand me you know? They're often scared of me like my sister. We always have been alone. But with the avengers, it's cool because I can show people that I want to protect them and I want to be a better person"

"I think you're already a good person" she said making me smile softly "thank you. But people don't always think like you"

"I understand, being an assassin isn't helping either"

"You're not an assassin, well not anymore, you were just manipulated" she doesn't have time to answer that nat talks in the comm.

"Okay love birds we entered." She tease making us blush.

"We're coming" I said and we left the jet to enter the building from the front door.

"There're 3 guards" I say to the comm and yelena. She takes her guns and we walk closer to the guards.

"Do you wanna do a diversion or do you want to take them by surprise?"

"Surprise is more my thing" she said and I nod.

In a few seconds I'm behind one of the guard knocking him out with a gun. When he fell on the ground, the two others get alerted.

Yelena fight one while I fight the other and I 10 seconds the door is free.

"Zone cleaned" I said gaining my breath back.

We slowly open the door but one guard saw us. He's about to call reinforcements but I quickly freeze his walkie-talkie.

We run towards him and knock him out.

"Where is this fucking watch?" I asked over the comms "I think it's in the middle room. There should be a door in front of you. Do you see it?"

"Yes" "go towards it. There's a code?"
"Yes" "okay we're heading to the computer room. Nat will hack it to find the password" Steve said.

"Okay" after a few minutes and more guards knocked out nat speak again "354322" yelena write the code while I fight with another guard. "Fuck. It needs a fingerprint"

"No problem" I said taking the guards I just knocked out with my power. I use wind to fly him over yelena. She takes he's hand and put his finger on the door.

"It's open" we see the watch on a table and take it "we have the watch" but before we can get out probably 10 guards come shooting at us.

We jump behind a table "fuck" I cursed feeling hurt on my belly.

"Are you hurt?" "I think a bullet touching me"

"We're coming" Steve said over the comms.

I get up and use the wind to fly all of the guards who are now shiting in there pants and throw them against the wall.

Knocking all of them out. I almost fell but I feel yelena catch me before I hit the ground.

"It's okay" she whispered in my ear putting pressure on my wounds.

"Don't worry I've been though worse" I quietly chuckled.

After a few seconds she spoke again "can you get up?"

"Uh yes I think" I try to get up but almost fell. Fortunately she's here to catch me again.

"Okay Steve and nat are waiting on the jet. We have to quickly get out because soon the reinforcements will be here"

"Okay can you hold on me?" I said getting up "uhm yes?" She said unsure "trust me"

And with that she hold tight on me and I quickly fly to the jet. Some hydra agents are trying to shoot us but we quickly leave the base.

When we land in the jet I carefully put yelena down who's shocked.

"You good?" I asked chuckling "uh I- what the fuck?!?" She stutter making me laugh.

"Sorry we had to leave quickly" I apologized "don't do that again please" she said seriously before we burst out of laughter.

But my mood quickly change when I feel a pain in my stomach.

Yelena saw my state and her gaze immediately turn with worry.

"Okay we need to heal your wounds" nat said pulling me on the med bed.
