Chapter 35

Y/n pov:

« What happened? » i asked wanda as she passed nat to tony.

She clearly was in a state of shock. She looked at her hands who were drained with nat's blood.

« I- I- » her breath hitched. She started breathing heavily.

I know this feeling too well.

« Wanda. Im here, breath, it's gonna be okay I promise »

That doesn't worked.

Her eyes are filled with tears and she keeps whispering « not again »

« Wanda look at me » i tried but nothing. She seems to be in a sort of trance.

I know that when I have panic attack, nothing can bring me back to reality... except people that make me feel at home.

I scream for pepper and in a few seconds she's here carrying a scared aden.

« Aden it's okay. Can you hug your mommy for a while please? » he nodded and pepper set him down.

He ran towards Wanda and tightly hugged her.

Her body tensed at first but I think she recognized Aden. She quickly calm down and get down on her knees so she's at the same level as him.

She hugs him and breath his scent. After a few minutes she calm down and look up at me.

« Not again y/n. Please not again »

I have tears streaming down my cheeks. I don't know what happened but Natasha can't die.

Wanda and aden need her, Yelena need her. I need her.

I kiss Wanda's forehead and run towards the med rooms.

When I entered, yelena was sat her face in her hands.

« Oh baby » i sighed. I crouched down in front of her and putted my forehead on hers.

Just at this moment, Wanda and aden entered the room.

Wanda has a dead grip on her son like if she's scared that he'll disappear.

We sat there. In silence waiting for someone to give us news.

We waited hours and hours until Tony and Bruce entered the room.

We all looked at them.

Tony gave us a look and shook his head no.

No.

« No » Wanda spoke up.

She walked to nat's room. We all followed her.

Nat was laying here. Her lifeless body on the bed.

I see yelena look away and hide Aden's eyes.

I feel like I have trouble breathing.

Wanda get closer to her and place her hand on nat's heart.

« No- you- you can't » She create a red wisp around her hand.

« Don't leave me. Don't leave our son. And don't leave your sister »

She can't leave us.

Nat's body is quickly surrounded by red wisp.

« Wanda what are you doing? » tony asked.

She doesn't answer and a few seconds later, the machine for her heart is working again.

Tony and Bruce rush towards her.
« We have a pulse »

I sighed relieved.

« H- How? » yelena asked approaching her.

« Wanda did this » bruce said.

Yelena didn't said anything, she just hugged Wanda tightly.

« Thank you » she whispered and Wanda hugged her back just crying.

I take aden in my arms.
« It's okay baby, your mama is okay »
