Our schedule began today. Mondays and Tuesdays, I rode with Calum. Wednesdays and Thursdays, Calum would ride with me. Then Fridays would switch with Mali and Marcus, if he was home.

I left my bedroom after I changed. I grabbed a quick breakfast before leaving off to next door. I knocked on the door and it opened a few seconds later.

"Won't you come in!" Calum greeted. I shook my head with a chuckle and entered the house.

"Wow, you guys finished all this in just two days?" I asked, seeing how he finished his home.

"Little bit of hard work, that's all!" Calum said. I chuckled at him again and followed him into the kitchen.

I saw a man standing at the island. "Hi! You must be Kenzie!" He said. I nod and shake his hand. "I'm David, Calum's dad. Sorry I missed the dinner the other night." I shook my head.

"Oh, it's no big deal! It's nice to meet you!" I said. Joy came from the hallway and I heard her bedroom door shut.

"Alright, let's hit the road!" She said, thing her hair up. Calum grabbed an apple from a fruit bowl on the counter.

"Apple?" Calum asked me before she shoved one in his bag.

"Sure," I said. He tossed me red apple and I caught it, turning around to follow Joy out of the house.

       "Bye Dad!"

"Bye, Mr. Hood!" I said with a wave.

David smiled up at us. "Have fun at school kids!" Calum shut the door and we entered Joy's car. Joy started the car and we headed off to school.

"How's your brother's room coming?" Calum asked me from the front seat.

"Oh it's turning out better! I took that moon reflection suggestion that you said and it looks so much better!" I turned on my phone and pulled up the picture. Leaning forward, I showed him the phone. Calum looked and saw the halfway finished moon drawing.

"Wow Miss Baxter. You're quite the artist!" Joy said as she looked at the phone.

"That's not even half of it, mum. You should see her sketch book!" I laughed.

"THAT is to never be shown!" I said, pointing at Calum. He lifted his hands up in surrender and laughed. The car ride was fast since there was barely any traffic. We got out and walked to the patio that was outside the lunch room where Michael sat with Roy and Zoey. This was basically our crew.

"Hey guys!" Zoey said. I smiled and waved. "So you guys live next to each other and you guys carpool?" I nod as Calum stands next to Roy. I sit down at the seat that Zoey had her feet on.

         "Yep, that's pretty much it!"

"Wait, the house you moved into is next door to her?" Michael asked confused.

"I explained this to you!" Calum said. I laughed at them. Oh, boys will be boys.

"Oh, did you get Michael's new number?" Roy asked me. I shook my head and handed Michael my phone for him to put in.

"I totally forgot to tell you. My uncle took me golfing Saturday," Zoey began.

"I thought you said your uncle can't golf?" Calum said.

"He can't!" Zoey and I said I'm unison.

"He went to go swing to hit the ball and the fall went flying. I'm actually thinking he's gonna make some pretty good distance but I was wrong because he hit the manager of the country club in the back of the head." Roy and Michael laughed.
