(Kenzie's POV)

The ride back home was super silent. Calum had sat in the passenger seat as Zoey stayed in the very back with me, holding my shaking hand.

Roy had already dropped off Luke and Michael and Zoey was next. As Roy pulled up, I crawled into the seat in front of us before Zoey left. She gave me a hug and told me to text her when I got home. I nodded to her and she hopped out of the car, closing the door behind her. She met Calum by the passenger window, said something small and quiet to him before she reached in for a hug. She walked around the car to Roy's side and reached in, hugging him before Roy and I watched to make sure she got into her house. We saw her dad step out of the door and eave to us, so the three of us waved.

Roy pulled out and headed off to my house. It was still quiet in the car. Calum hadn't said a word since we left Mitchell's house. When asked about what happened in the seven minutes he was gone for when we were waiting, he refused to answer, let alone speak before he finally told Roy to get to driving. I've seen Calum so angry. It was a sight id never thought I'd see.

Roy pulled up to my house and I hopped out of the backseat, still in Calum's sweatshirt as he and Roy talked for a second before Calum stepped out of the car.

"You'll be okay. But that won't happen again, okay?" Roy said. I nodded to him through the window and leaned in, hugging him. Thanking him for the ride, I walked over to Calum in the grass, who dug for his key in his pocket. Saying absolutely nothing to me, he gestured to my front door, telling me to get inside so he could make sure I got in. I unlocked my door and turned to wave Roy off and he pulled out of my driveway and headed next door to Calum's to make sure he got inside. And when he was, he officially drove off to home.

I set my key on the key rack after locking my front door and headed upstairs to my parents' open bedroom door. I popped in and knocked on the door to wake them up. "Hey, I'm home," I told them.

"Thank you darling," my dad said, who was the only one who woke. "Did you have a good time?"

"For the most part, yeah," I told him quietly.

"Good, I'm glad. We'll talk in the morning. Go ahead and get some sleep."

"Goodnight Papa," I said going to close his door. I walked across the hallway to my bedroom and closed the door. I walked into my bathroom and opened the curtain to see if Calum's room was lit up yet, and it was.

I closed the curtain and walked to my window and opened it. I carefully crawled out of my window and headed down my roof safely to next door to Calum's. We needed to talk. And it needed to be tonight.

I grabbed a handful of pebbles from a long my house and walked to Calum's backyard to stand under his window. I began to throw a few tiny rocks get a time at his window until he finally pulled back the inside blinds. I gestured my hand up, telling him to open the window. He did as I asked and popped his head out.

"What are you doing?" He asked me.

"I need to talk to you," I told him.

"And giving me a call wouldn't have worked?" He questioned sarcastically. I shook my head stubbornly.

"No," I said. "Can you come down here please?" After a second of thinking, Calum began to crawl his way out of his window. As he did that, I ran across the yard back to my house to put back the rest of the pebbles I had. Just as I was heading back, Calum made his way to the grass. I grabbed his wrist and pulled to where we usually sit or lay at and made him pop a squat. Visibly annoyed, he did so anyway.
