It was the next weekend and things between Calum and I have been moving relatively slow, but has been going so good. We have hung out everyday after school this past week and I was over at his house till late last night from us just talking and playing a few card games. Eventually, we went outside and played soccer in his backyard, which led to me falling asleep next to him in the grass for a half hour before he sent me back to my house. We've talked all day through text before calling a couple of times. It was like we weren't going to be seeing each other later anyways.

"Hey, I have a question," mum asked me, entering the kitchen as I finished cleaning the table off before Roy came by to pick up Calum and I. "What's going on with you and Calum?" My eyes widened at that question. I still haven't told my family about the conversation Calum and I had during the Winter Formal. But since I hid my last relationship, there's no reason to hide this one.

"Well, actually," I said, after swallowing a large gulp. "We're talking," I told her kind of hesitantly. A smile slowly crept onto the face of my mother. And quite frankly, it kind of scared me.

"I knew you crazy kids would end up together in some way at some point," she said, coming over to hug me, her large belly in the way.

"Don't jinx it yet, mum," I told her. She laughed at me. There was a knock on the front door before I heard Calum's voice.

"It's just me!" He announced to my house. My mum let go of me to greet one her favorite children at the door. "Hi, Mrs. Baxter!" I walked into the family room and grabbed my phone off the charger and shoved it in my back pocket of my tight blue jeans, that I wore with a white paisley printed hanky hem Cami top as I had a braid going along the top of my head, looking like a headband. I walked back into the kitchen to grab my house key before I met with Calum at the front door. Roy pulled up just in time in his truck and Calum and I headed out.

"You look nice," Calum said to me as I closed my front door. "Maybe a little too good," he said. I shook my head at him laughing. Calum was wearing a pair of skinny black jeans that hugged his legs tightly with one of his nice band tees and a sweatshirt hanging on his arm.

"You do too Mister Ripped Skinny Jeans," I commented. I heard Calum groan as we got to the car. Calum opened the door and I crawled into the back of the truck, Michael helping me past the first backseat. Calum entered the car and followed my movement as Luke and Michael assisted him in, which left Zoey in the passenger seat. Roy plugged his GPS up with Mitchell's address and took off.

(Calum’s POV)

We walked into my friend’s house, where the party was being hosted. I haven’t seen him since before I moved to Liverpool. He’s been my best friend since I was 12. I haven’t seen my other friends Jon and Corey. But I hadn’t talked to them in the last few months when I was still in Mount Druitt. I kind of don’t remember to be honest.

Walking through the house full of people Mitchell had around his house, he spotted me rather quickly and came running at me. “Hello mate, so glad you could make it!” Mitchell said in my ear before releasing the hug. “I’m glad you brought your friends too!”

“Oh, yes. Mitchell, this is Luke, Michael, Zoey, Roy, and Kenzie,” I said, pointing at each of my friends next to me. They all said hi to Mitchell before Mitchell grabbed my shoulder to go to my ear.

“The brunette is the one you’ve been telling me about right?” I rolled my eyes at him, but nodded.

“Yes,” I told him. He grinned at me and I knew that look. “It’s nothing right now, don’t look at me like that! We’re just friends,” I told him. He rolled his eyes at me and chuckled.
