Sugawara [Date]

She fidgeted nervously as she tugged at her sweater. A date. A date with him. Sugawara Koushi. One of the sweetest third years known in Karasuno. All the girls loved him and [First] thought she was the last thing on his mind, but apparently she was always on his mind. Always. From her soft [H/C] hair to the little things he thought was adorable. It took him almost a year to man up and ask her to go on a date with him.

And it took her almost three minutes to stop her stuttering and accept the offer. Her friends had admitted they were green with envy when finding out about the date with the cute third year. She shifted from foot to foot while waiting for the third year. Her mindless shifting had been shortly interrupted by a voice.

"[First]-chan!"

She looked up and smiled at the third year jogging towards her. "Sugawara-kun." She said calmly, but her heart pounded a mile a minute. He panted slightly and gave her a smile.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting, [First]-chan." He said apologetically. He had a red tint overlapping his usual pale skin as he looked at [First] once more. Her face burned even more, feeling as if she were inside a giant pot with boiling water.

"N-No! It's alright." [First] cursed herself for stuttering. It was highly unattractive and doing that on front of her crush made it even worse. "Let's head off now okay?"

Sugawara nodded, still smiling as he continued walking down the road with [First].

"So..." [First] said awkwardly. "What are we doing?" Sugawara gave her a side glance, giving a cute, but mischievous smile. [First] gave a nervous smile. Dear God, I'm awkward. She thought as she walked alongside. It was quiet - and a little awkward - as they walked down the path to the festival.

So this is where he was taking her. [First] gave a shifty eyed look before smiling. Crowded places and screaming children were not her cup of tea. Or perhaps anyone's for the matter.

Then again, she does live in a mildly populated area anyways. Sugawara took notice of the girl's nervousness. Never had he seen such an adorable expression. Her nose was slightly scrunched and there was a crease on her forehead.

"We don't have to go here if you want." He said, giving his heart melting smile once more. [First] swore she heard her heart beat faster and louder than it already had. She shook her head.

"No." She said. "Its fine."

They continued their date. As they walked, a certain [Favorite Color] [Favorite Animal] caught her eye. Immediately, she stepped up to the booth, reading the sign.

Of course, being the responsible girl she was (A/N: Oh my god I died when I wrote that I am far from responsible, okay continue), [First] payed and took the baseball. A crowd had suddenly surrounded her when she took a pitcher's stance.

Sugawara only watched. Before he asked her out, Sugawara knew little about [First], only she had two older brothers who were baseball players for their collages and she used to play and train with baseball players when they were in middle school.

She hasn't played through tournaments since she was fourteen. Even now, though, her for was perfect. She raised her leg, causing many baseball enthusiasts to look even closer. She swung her arm back and as soon as her feet struck with the asphalt, the ball flew, smashing against the white pin.

Everyone looked in utter shock until someone gave a whistle, making spectators pull away from their misty trance. Claps and cheers were heard, even Sugawara cheered. He watched as she struck the next to pins at ease. Her eyes had been glaring at the pins the whole time, as if she had shut down every single voice that could be heard.

When she came back to reality, a large [Favorite Color] [Favorite Animal] had been handed over by the smiling booth holder. Her face went beet red as she walked up to Sugawara, hugging the animal tightly by the neck.

"That was really embarrassing." She muttered to him as they walked. Sugawara smiled and wrapped and arm around her shoulders.

"I thought it was pretty hot." He replied nonchalantly. [First] bursts into a darker shade of red.

Extended Ending:

"They're so cute."

Sugawara and [First] walked down the hall, the silver haired third year with his arm snaked around her waist and the [H/C] haired girl was hugging his waist with her arms.

Her face, like always, was beet red. Sugawara grinned. He's gonna have a lot of fun teasing his new girlfriend.
