I remember when we first met...
"Gah! Watch out!"
"Huh - ah!"
The two junior high first years flinched as they made contact with the ground on their butts. The girl, rubbing her bottom carefully looked at the boy in front of her. Quickly and hastily, she shot up and bowed.
"I-I'm so sorry!" She stammered. Her hand shot out to offer to help him up. The boy took it gladly and patted himself wordlessly.
He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked down at her. "You should watch where you're going next time."
"Yeah, I kinda figured that out." The girl replied as she looked around to gather her things, but quickly stopped. "Oh no! My bento!"
Her fingers grasped at the canister with spilled food surrounding it. Her throat caught a lump and she held back all she could, not wanting to look more of an idiot in front of the classmate.
Late and no lunch. What great way to start the day.
The boy rubbed his neck, feeling guilty. "You can, uh, share mine." He offered. "Just stop by Class 1-4."
The girl rubbed her eyes. "Really?"
He nodded, his cheeks pinkening when he caught sight of pretty third year girls looking at the duo. "Yeah. What's your name?"
"[Last] [First]."
The dark haired boy pushed bis bangs away and held out his hand. "Kageyama Tobio."
I remember when you asked me on a date...
Kageyama wiped the sweat off his face as he watched her standing in front of the school yard patiently, waiting for him to come over. Sugawara told him to just be himself and ask her.
How the hell can he ask her when he's a sweating mess?
With wobbly steps, Kageyama walked up to [First] nervously. Her head spun and she smiled at him like she usually did. Kageyama almost died on the sight, but he gained his composure and swallowed the nervousness.
"[First] will you g-g-go on a da-date with m-me?" He mentally kicked himself for stuttering so much. His cheeks burned and his usual cool composure broke. If Tsukishima or Hinata had been here, they would have been all over his ass on this.
[First] stared at him in bewilderment before a small blush spread on her cheeks and she nodded enthusiastically. "I'd love to."
Kageyama sighed in relief.
I remember when you were accepted into college...
"I got in."
Kageyama showed his acceptance letter in the college he marveled about for the past few months to [First]. His girlfriend grinned at the sight of the letter. She pulled herself off from the seat she was in and hugged him without a word.
"Oh my god, Tobio!" She shrieked and held him tightly. Kageyama smiled slightly and wound his arms around her frame. "You always wanted to go there didn't you?"
