WISTERIA GREENBLOOM was pissed. The Capitol had promised no more fighting for her, no more worrying — but now all she did was worry. It was a complete nightmare. She tried excessively hard to push her worries away, even going as far as to stay up all night and all she did was face lack of sleep in the end.

Now, she was even more disgusted with the Capitol. They had told her they'd fix her up, stop her nightmares. Try they had, but all that came out of it was fighting, struggling, and still nightmares plagued her. Admittedly, Wisteria would most definitely choose having nightmares forever over being 'fixed' by the Capitol themselves.

"What do you need me for, anyways? You've barely let me see any other Victors from different Districts." an unfamiliar voice that seemed far away scoffed, and Wisteria could feel his eye roll. However, she questioned why the Capitol had brought a Victor from supposedly another District.

"You're here to meet someone who is just like you were." Now, that voice was so familiar. Gemstone, one of the few Capitol citizens who had tried (and failed) to possibly 'fix' Wisteria.

The girl acted on impulse, scrambling up to run to her room. When she slammed the door behind her and locked it, that's when her own front door opened. Wisteria's breathing quickened and she held her head in her hands, silent sobs wracking her body as she begged them to not have heard the door. Despite her efforts, it was inevitable — they obviously knew where she was.

Instead of the loud, booming voice of either Leto or Agnes like she had expected, it was a soft male voice that called her name. The same voice whom she had heard outside.

"Wisteria? Please come out. This isn't healthy.." Now that he was closer, she finally recognized the voice. Finnick Odair, the youngest ever Victor in hunger games history, wining when he was fourteen years of age. He was nineteen now.

"Did the Capitol send you? Did..they tell you?" she questioned. "Are they here? Listening in?"

"The Capitol did request me to be here, however they didn't tell me your problems. All they told me was that you have something similar going on. Something related to the things I experienced after my games." Finnick paused. "No. They're not here. They won't be for a long time, we've got plenty of time to speak..please, let me talk to you." he sighed.

Wisteria shook her head, but slowly stood up, turning to her door and unlocking it with a click before opening it to reveal a bronze-haired male with tanned skin and sea-green eyes. He smiled sheepishly at her.

"Hello, Finnick.." she whispered, and he slowly cupped her cheek in his hand.

"It's good to officially meet you, Wisteria. I hope I can help you feel at ease. After all, nobody deserves this. The struggling, nightmares..I'll help you, I promise." His sea-green eyes seemed to sparkle a bit more as he told her this.

"Thank you, but I don't think I'd like that..they're going to use me, Finnick." Wisteria admitted to him.

"I know, Wisteria. You're only sixteen though, hm? It's fucked up. They do the same to me..but I'm helping you because I don't want you to suffer from nightmares like I did. Okay?"

"You're only helping me because they knew you would, right? You're kind enough to do that, based on the interviews I've seen. I've also seen you at a few parties, talking with people kindly." she looked away from him as she admitted this, pushing his hand away from her cheek.

He chuckled, and instead of a sheepish smile, a bright smile replaced his features. "Oh? I didn't know you were that interested in getting to know me. Do I really flatter you that much?" He had changed the subject, she knew he had, and she was grateful.
