Song for this chapter: "Demolition Lovers" by: "My Chemical Romance"

AUBREYS POV:

Man, this running away stuff was harder than I thought. I had taken my Aunt's backup credit card and deposited as much money as I could from it, which was 500 dollars. Then adding up my money that I saved up from work, which was 350 dollars. I had the grand total of 850 dollars to live off of.

I had snuck into two trains and hitch hiked to many cars to count and had almost made it to New York.

I really should have thought of this through before I left.

EMMAS POV :

After Gerard got in the car I took off without questioning where I was going, even though I hadn't had a single clue.

I stopped at the gas station to get some gas and some food for later on in the trip. I didn't know what to get so I just grabbed as many granola bars as I could, probably enough for at least 3 weeks.

I looked at Gerard in the backseat through the review mirror. He looked confused but had a hint of excitement in his eyes. I hadn't talked to him since I left his house.

Should I say something? Nah.

I had no idea how I was going to find Aubrey at all but I had this weird gut feeling that I was going to find her.

Around 10:30 we stopped at a Starbucks to get some coffee. While Frank was still waiting for his coffee I sat down, Gerard followed my actions and sat down across from me.

"So, where are we going exactly?" Gerard asked me.

"I don't know." I shrugged, not looking up from the coffee.

"Then why did we leave?"

"Because I am going to find my sister." I said blankly.

Didn't Frank tell him this already?

"Well then why the hell am I here?" He snapped.

Ouch.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

He opened his mouth to say something but Frank came and sat down.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" Frank asked.

"Oh, she doesn't know." Gerard said sarcastically and rolled his eyes.

Frank sighed then looked at me with a sympathetic smile.

"We should probably hit the road." Frank offered.

"Sounds peachy." Gerard said and headed toward door and out to the car.

"Don't worry, you'll find something soon. We are going to find her, I can feel it."

I smiled at him and I walked to the car. Gerard was in the backseat looking at his phone. Frank was still inside, buying some magazines or something.

I got in the car. Gerard looked up and sighed.

"Emma I'm sorry, it's just I'm really confused right now about everything happening and I really don't know how to react."

"It's okay, I get it. We're all confused."

"Yeah." He said meekly.

I slumped down in my seat and sighed. I should have thought through this first.

What had I gotten myself into?

Frank got in the car. And we drove off again, and with my luck, probably in the wrong direction.

This was hopeless.

AUBREYS POV:

I had snuck onto the train the third train which hopefully would be the last one till I reached New York. I had 30 minutes to come up with a plan to have Emma find me. I started to work on it.

-TIME LAPSE-
I walked out onto the busy streets of New York. I took a deep breath in and exhaled loudly. This better work.

EMMAS POV:

We had been driving for a couple of hours. I had started to get tired so Frank offered to drive while I sat in the back seat with Gerard, who had fallen asleep and was now leaning against my shoulder and snoring loudly.

I heard Frank laugh from the drivers seat. "You guys are cute."

I laughed. "Shut up Frankie."

As we continued to drive north I started to drift off to sleep until I was awoken by the sound of my phone notifying me that I had gotten a text. It was an unidentified number. I unlocked my phone to see what it was. It was a picture taken of a city at night. I looked closer at the picture to see if I could see what the street was called, 'Broadway' it said. Then I got another text, it only said to letters but those letters had way to much meaning. 'A.H.' Then it hit me.

"Oh my God." I muttered. I couldn't believe it.

"Oh my God!" I repeated, only a bit louder this time.

I pushed Gerard of my shoulder, which sent him into the car door hitting his head. He shot up squinting his eyes and rubbed his head. He was probably still half asleep.

"Guess what Frankie!" I exclaimed.

"What?"

"We're going to New York!"

"Well isn't that just wonderful!" He said in the cheesiest way possible.

I had so much excitement that I had no idea what to do with. I wasn't thinking clearly and clung to Gerard's side, and the weird thing was he hugged back. We stayed that way for a couple of seconds and then realized what we were doing. We both sat up not saying a word. Gerard cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. We shared a quick glance.

Screw it.

I hugged him again, this time not intending to let go. And again, he hugged back. I looked up at him and he snickered. And held onto me tighter.

"I guess we're going to New York." He said.

The fact that I was in Gerard's arms and I had already found out where my sister was, I guess you could say that I this wasn't such a bad plan after all. I saw Frank look at me through the review mirror he smirked and looked back on the road. And with that I closed my eyes and let sleep take over.

A/N:

I just had to re-write this 3 times no big deal or anything. But hey the Wenchal ship has sailed so it's all good! I'm also gonna start adding songs to the chapters.
