FLASHBACK'S FOR THE BETTER

"I WANT TO START OFF by saying I'm sorry. I know I said I'd visit once a month, but it's been wild over at camp. I've been going non-stop, every time I get back from a mission I get pulled back in on another one. It's draining, and we don't know how long we can keep this going. But we're in the endgame now, I think by the week we'll be done" Arya started off her recap, sitting across from Noelle's grave with her arms wrapped around her knees, a fresh set of bruises covering her legs and arms. "I'm getting ahead of myself, I want to start from farther back, when I realized all my friends were ready to move on but me."

"So you decided on college." Arya summed up.

Currently Arya and all of her friends were in the Aphrodite cabin dressed in their best clothes. Selina had kicked out all of her siblings so they wouldn't be bothers to the group. Arya was at one of the many makeup tables with Selina doting behind her, the others stood around in various spots and none of them could help but talk about what was ahead of them.

"No, I'm gonna try college for the change of pace, and if it works out I'll see it through. But either way, I'm gonna end up taking Hephestus' offer." Charles said, crossing his arms over his chest. His big muscles pulled against the button up shirt he was wearing like it was going to rip at any second. He was used to wearing tank tops but had been told to stop complaining by his girlfriend so he opted to suffer in silence.

"Well count me and Clarisse in to come visit!" Selina said as she worked on Arya's hair.

"I can't see you two rooming together." Travis laughed from on top of one of the beds, he was fidgeting with his bow tie, pulling it away from his neck like he was choking. Arya was glad she didn't have to wear one.

"What do you mean punk!" Clarisse snapped, from under the arm of her boyfriend Chris, Clarisse was in a badass looking pants suit and Chris was looking spiffy in his all black button up.

"I'm just saying a daughter of Ares and a Daughter of Aphrodite, living in a small dorm room together seems like a bad idea." Travis explained.

"It probably would be if they weren't best friends." Selena winked at him. "Stop playing with your bow tie."

Travis stuck his tongue out at her and laughs were heard all around.

"And the rest of you are all heading off to college too. Leaving me in the dust." Arya said with a little sigh.

"It's not too late you know. You could apply." Pollux offered but Arya shook her head.

"I might not know what I want to do with my life, but I don't think college is the way to go. I tried the whole school thing. It didn't go well."
