A VERY LATE, AND NINE YEARS WORTH OF, BIRTHDAY PRESENT

TWO WEEKS PASSED BY faster than anyone seemed to have time to process.

The first 48 hours, everyone at camp just slept. Will Solace was the only one to leave his cabin at all, and that was just to tend the wounded, then he was right back in his bed. He said camp looked like a ghost town. Dionysus had even been kind enough to order the food to be delivered to the cabins so that no one would be forced to leave.

After everyone got enough rest, then the rest of the week became clean up duty. Weapons were put away, cabins were cleaned out, defenses and traps were taken down. The wounded almost all got fully healed and were back on their feet. Nymphs and dryads helped regrow the forest. All the buildings that had been transformed for the war effort were now turned back into their normal camp buildings.

Camp by the end of the first week started looking less like the headquarters of a warfront, and more like the normal summer camp that Arya called home.

Clarisse, Conner, Travis, and Arya were sent on a three day mission to pick up the kids that Hermes had told Percy about. There were five of them total, making the trip back full of monsters with nine demigods. The four of them didn't mind it though, the fights were widely easy compared to what they faced in Manhattan, and the four of them treated it like their final trip together before Clarisse and Travis would leave for college.

Once the tear down was complete, they immediately started the next phase, the rebuild. Annabeth, with the help of her siblings and the approval of Chiron and DIonysus, formed a plan for how the new kids cabins would be placed, complete with blueprints of every cabin. Every camper was excited to start on the projects.

Everyone for the most part seemed to be doing alright, smiles and laughter were heard more at camp over the last two weeks than Arya had heard in years. Occasionally you would see a camper crying because something reminded them of the death of a friend but that seemed to be expected.

Percy had been honest with Arya, he was surprised she was doing as well as she was, she had almost expected her to sink. In turn, Arya was truthful back.

She was far from happy, and she was living moment by moment, and some of them were significantly harder than others. A few times she had run to the Hephestus cabin to tell Charles something exciting and had to stop herself, once she had turned to ask Selina for advice on an outfit, and the first thing she did every morning was remind herself that Luke was dead. But she wasn't going to sink, because she had motivation to keep moving, she had Percy and the future of camp, she had a family to talk to, and her home back.
