When I Find You

Chapter 15

Hey guys. So as I said before the last chapter was just a flashback. It was basically unraveling their plans. I just don't want you all confused.

This chapter is now picking up from after Jessica signed the papers and left with Ian.

We walked back into the house and was instantly bombarded with questions by Mathew and Ethan.

"Did it work?" Mathew asked. "Did you switch the papers?"

"Yes. Our plan is working. Now we just need to wait until he realizes what we've done." I said grinning a huge smile.

"Did you find him?" Ian asked.

"Yeah we did." Ethan said.

"So, what did he say?" Ian insisted.

"He said he would help us, but he wants something in return." Mathew looked and the floor and quietly said "he wants to take Jessica on a date."

My eyes grew wide and I immediately looked at Ian. He was fuming with anger.

"Ok. Tell him I'll do it" I said quickly.

"WHAT!" Ian shouted. "No!"

"Ian it's just a date." I said. "Tell him yes. Ian can you please follow me to the room. " Ian glared at me and then walked passed me into the room.

I shut the doors and Ian began to lecture me.

"Are you nuts? You think I'm gonna let my girlfriend go out on a date with some ass hole ex of hers?? Sweetie you must be out of your mind!!!" He shouted.

"Do that again." I said.

"do what?" He said confused.

"Call me your girlfriend again." I said while biting my lips. "That's the first time you've ever called me your girlfriend and to be honest it sounds  hot."

"Nope" he said, popping the 'p'

"What why?" I frowned.

"Because you're fine with going on a date with your ex."

"So then I'm not your girlfriend." I said with a straight face. "Until you call me your girlfriend, I will not speak to you."

"C'mon babe. stop the foolishness" he said. I didn't reply. We sat there for two minutes and then he finally blurted out "JESSICA PARKER IS MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND."

"Ok better and for the record, he is not my ex, we just went on a few dates." I said.

"Come here." Ian pulled me close by the waist. His huge arms around me. He brought his lips to mine and we kissed passionately. I placed my hand on his chest and I felt his heart beat speed up. He broke the kiss and made his way down to my neck. He trailed a long line of kisses from my neck down my arms and placed a final kiss on my hand.

"You're mine. Do you understand?" He said and I nodded my head yes. "Only mine"

We were gathered in the living room, awaiting the arrival of a certain someone.

*knock knock* Ian got up from his seat and opened the door.

There he stood. He was taller and way more handsome than before. He wore all black and looked badass. He looked at Ian and Ian gave him an evil glare. I got up from my seat and went to welcome him inside. I had a feeling Ian wanted to punch this guy.

"Hello Ryder!" I greeted him. I gave him a quick hug and he hugged me back.

"Jessica it's so wonderful to see you again." He said while smiling at me. "My god you are gorgeous. "
